I honestly did not care about Henson being sold. I had a "just sell it and get it over with" attitude about it. I just didn't care to sit here reading and speculating after every little press release. In fact, that was one of the reasons I stopped checking this site as often as I used to...
Ooooooooops. Excuse my little outburst there. I just realized what you meant. I thought by "get" you meant "care for", not "understand."
Sh. is a dunderhead.
Wrong. An artist and a writer. Who both happen to work in comicbooks, but are well respected |outside| of comics. Gaiman is a best selling author of novels. The kind that doesn't have any drawin's in it. :)
Sh. works in comics and is respected nowhere.
(sorry about the late response)
McKean is a multimedia painter. He mixes pen and ink, painting, photography, and photoshop manipulation. His work is often exhibits a dark disturbing surreal kind of beauty. But he also has a sense of whimsy and the absurd. He can go both ways.
The film...
Heh. You ain't in trouble. I was just being silly, because I do see this same conversation on almost every comicbook board I go on. *shrugs*
I like corndogs... well, not really. They're icky. My friend from Norway ended up eating a corndog the last time he was in America. He had a low...

Someone on one of the comicboards I post on pasted me this link. It's a two year old interview, so you guys probably already know about it. But I'm showing you, anyway. So, yeah.

MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Dave McKean. I just watched the Week Before again last night. Lemme tell you kids. It's an amazing film.
This will be an amazing film if it ever sees fruit.
As for the Todd/Gaiman debate, could you guys stop talking about it? I get enough of...
Could someone explain why everybody is complaining? I don't see what's so wrong with someone INVESTING in JHC, so that there is an influx of dollars, thus keeping them away from bankruptcy. So, someone explain why everyone is angry, as I don't see it.
Sh.
You know, I really like to eat my fried chicken cold. It's really much more yummy that way than hot. It's best if cooled in the refrigerator, tho. Otherwise it is icky.
I eat cold fried chicken for breakfast. It makes a dandy sandwich meat. And you don't even have to use a microwave...
Hey, I'm not an old schooler. But for what it's worth, I'm still here. Just disapeared for a few weeks due to personal reasons, but now I'm back in 90% LURK MODE!

Re: Jamie
Nope. He's still under contract. They're just focusing on the Intern characters that they recently added. At the end of one of the Intern characters commercials, Steve (the Dell guy -- the character not the actor) makes an appearance.
I watched a documentary on Jarred a few months...
Re: Frank Sinatra
Ooooo, you best not diss the Chairman of the Board -- and I don't mean Carrot Top.
You need to step outside sometime and realize that most of your favorite punk bands like stuff that isn't punk at all -- which is how we get the punk rock covers of stuff. C'mon, even Syd...
Well, you're missing ones just with Less Than Jake. They released a 7 inch with several Muppet songs on it. This is one of the prizes of my Less Than Jake collection |and| my Muppet collection.
Look at the record here:

Don't worry, my band will get your revenge for you. We're working on an album where we cover punk songs as dance music.
I personally love punk covers of songs. I have the Less Than Jake Muppets 7 inch |and| the 12 inch with the Me First and the Gimme Gimmes cover of Rainbow Connection.
