I used to kinda like Elmo, though as Byron said, in small doses. Once Elmo's World came on and monopolized half the show, I lost all my tolerance for Elmo. Rosita I'm a little ambivalent about. She doesn't do much for me, but usually she doesn't particularly annoy me either. Baby Bear is the...
Ha, I had to chuckle when I first saw the ad for "Home on the Range" in a Tinseltown calendar. It looks like Disney just rewound 40 years or something. Then again, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Most of Disney's earlier stuff was pretty darn good. Are they seriously halting...
I know, it's such a sad song in a way. It really does hint at their breakup. I think a lot of their later songs can be read that way -- I wrote a review of "Old Friends" focusing on the third CD like that http://www.epinions.com/musc-review-30D8-CBA8D1C-3925650D-prod3 -- but "Only Living Boy"...
Seriously?? That's great! I don't know too much about U2, but I've been seeing an awful lot of Bono lately and he's really impressed me. He seems like a really committed and compassionate person. :)
Awesome! :-D Thanks, Emmy!
I love "Only Living Boy in New York!" I just discovered it three years ago, and it quickly became one of my favorite Simon and Garfunkel songs. It's so appropriate, too, at a time of possible reunion... :)

I know, I really want to see how their interaction changes throughout the concert. I heard about that guy rushing the stage. It sounded like a pretty scary moment. I read in an interview once Paul saying he was thinking he was going to go down just like John Lennon... :(
I saw that article...
Yay, Emmy! Yeah, it's the main reason I'm watching too, though I'm also gonna keep an eye out to see if James Taylor wins anything. I've never seen the Concert in Central Park :( but I have it on CD - in fact I'm listening to it right now. I kinda missed the boat on "American Dreams" and just...
My favorite singer is getting a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys, as is his lyrical genius of a former singing partner. :) As if that alone weren't enough, rumors are flying furiously that the two may actually take this opportunity to bury the hatchet and reunite! Tuesday, Art said on...
Princess Bride is the greatest! And quoting line for line -- absolutely. This movie is a must when we have our big family get-together every Christmas.
"Mawwiage...mawwiage is wot bwings us togetha today..." Classic! :D

I didn't watch "Joe Millionaire" except the first episode, which I happened to see at a friend's house. As a rule I don't like reality TV, except "American Idol" - I'm hooked on that! "Star Search" was pretty good too, especially the junior singers. I thought the premise of "Joe Millionaire" was...
I'm with ya there, Byron! There's nothing quite like walking across a campus that looks just like a Currier and Ives painting. Though somewhere above zero degrees would be kinda nice...
Erin (still smilin' in frigid Erie) :)
If it didn't, it should have! Joseph is definitely one of my favorite musicals. I'm also very partial to Rodgers and Hammerstein and Disney, and some others. Musicals rock!

I did too! I really like "The Greatest Adventure." And speaking of Roddy McDowall, I thought he was the perfect Sam in their version of Return of the King.
"Talking animal" movies and books, like Secret of NIMH, the American Tail series, Redwall, Disney's version of Robin Hood, The...
