I agree. I was disappointed in Attack of the Clones. There were special effects everywhere, but I couldn't make much sense of the plot and didn't care enough about the main characters.

Last night Conan started the broadcast of his show with no power, no guests, and no audience. It was pretty funny. Just him and a few of his crew sitting around in the dark and periodically showing video of the mass of people outside, which Conan subdivided in terms of whose show they would have...
I am looking forward to it, but I suspect it's going to be very depressing. This is the part where pretty much everything goes wrong and Annakin becomes Darth Vader. It doesn't sound like a very fun movie. I hope it isn't all quite as bleak as that...

Okay, it's definitely related. For some reason my house didn't lose power for long, but most of the stores, radio stations, hospitals, etc. have little or no power. Our main street is pretty much shut down. They said that this was caused by the Niagara Mohawk factory going down.
Our TV...
I just read that today! I love Robert, he's definitely my favorite character. He's such an Eeyore. He cracks me up! I hope they get this worked out. The numbers do seem pretty disproportionate; Ray gets $45 million for this season, Brad gets $4 million. I think he's probably as important to the...
The power went off here in Erie about an hour ago, but it came back on fairly quickly. I was pretty surprised when I turned the tv on and saw the mess in New York! Apparently in other parts of Erie the power's been on and off all day, so I don't know if ours were related to the big power outage...
I watch Frasier a lot in syndication (well, I watch pretty much everything in syndication). It's on right before the local news. I think it's pretty funny and especially enjoy David Hyde Pierce. It seems to be losing a bit of steam now, though, since the...
LOL! Yeah, they are pretty funny, actually, they're just so over the top... But really, Jerry is perfect for the commercials. He's got this self-effacing aura about him that's quite charming, and he never seems to care how goofy he might wind up appearing. Usually when I watch those commercials...
That would be awesome! There were so many great cartoons in the '80s. I used to spend half the day Saturday watching cartoons; now Saturday morning cartoons don't seem to be anything special at all. And we always watched shows like Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles after school. They were great! Is...
I'm not much good at compiling top ten lists, but Luther and Balky would be contenders for the list! They are both too cute... Weird thing is, seems like every time I see Bronson Pinchot in another role, he's kind of a creep (and doesn't have that great accent, of course! ;) ) But Jerry Van...
Bleah. That doesn't look too promising to me. Doesn't even look like Garfield, though Bill Murray's voice sounds like I think of Garfield sounding. And Breckin Meyer definitely doesn't look like Jon, IMO. I don't know, I've seen him in a few things and he just doesn't seem right for the role to...
I saw the DVDs for the first four seasons of M*A*S*H yesterday. Man! $120 for a third of the series!!! I think I'll wait before I run out and get those, especially since it's on tv every day.
