I thought I'd resurrect this thread, since I'm currently stuck in what seems to be an interminable case of writer's block, punctuated only by the writing of a few reviews, most of them in August, and a song in September. I spent a couple hours today just staring at a sheet of paper. I seem to...
Wow, your name used to be Steven King? That's kinda funny - and a very different name from Nik Zane! I imagine it would get kinda old always getting comments on your name like that. In middle school there was a guy who always asked me where Paul McCartney was. Dude! He's got two extra letters in...
My brother saw LXG and liked it. He liked "Pirates of the Caribbean" better, but he thought LXG was pretty decent too. Of course, he's a big Sean Connery fan, so that helped.

I don't know anything about which episode it was on - actually, I thought it was on many episodes, because I remember seeing it often. It always kinda gave me the creeps! The animation style was really weird.

Yeah, it did seem like there was more romantic chemistry between her and Han than her and Luke. The "I love you" "I know" thing made me sad when I first saw it, with the horrible frosen-in-carbonite thing. :( (I hated Star Wars for several years because of that scarring scene...) I love...
Aw, that sounds cute. I was an Ewok for Halloween when I was 6. Hehe, the whole having a crush on his sister thing was kinda weird, but it just translated into brotherly/sisterly love. One way or another it was clear there was a connection. It's nice that the way it worked out, Han and Luke both...
Yeah, I know, lots of death and destruction and good-guy-turning-into-bad-guy. I much prefer bad-guy-turning-into-good-guy. "Jedi" was my favorite of the original 3, largely because of that factor. The whole family thing was really moving, and that look on Han's face after Leia's "He's my...
Yeah, Harry Potter 3 should be interesting with a different director and everything. I want to see it. I love the series, and the third book was one of my favorites. I want to see Star Wars 3, but I was disappointed by the first two prequels and I hear this one will be quite depressing... :(
Erin
LOL! Sheesh, I don't know, I would've loved to talk to Mr. Rogers, but I don't know about talking to him in his birthday suit... Your friend's father must've felt a little weird! Maybe a little too neighborly... :p
Erin
Yepper! Sing with me: "Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you gotta do is call and I'll be there... you've got a friend." :) Here's some virtual hugs coming your way!
Erin
I'm glad to hear your brother is doing better. It sounds like this has been really traumatic for you - not surprisingly. Going to a counselor, even if it's just to vent some frustration, will probably help you. Hope it all goes well! :)

I went to school with a guy whose last name was Rogers, so whenever his dad was around we called him Mr. Rogers. Well, yeah, what else would we have called him? :p But we always asked if he wanted to be our neighbor. :p Pretty sure his name wasn't Fred though.

Oh, wow, that's really cool! I love "Home Improvement." You must get a kick out of watching the show and seeing all those hometown references. So do you know him, living just two blocks away?
Erin
Hehe. Yeah, I guess they're kinda like clogs. Land's End calls them "all-weather moccassins," but that seems kinda strange to me because I always associate moccassins with slippers. Oh, well. Whatever they are, they're very comfy!! :)
Oh, and I'd like to spit at the 120-second rule as well...
I want to see "Elf" too. And "Brother Bear" and "Cat in the Hat" and some others. I WILL be seeing "Return of the King" in the theater. I cannot wait for that one!!! :D
Erin
Yeah, Kevin, I can't get into them either. Well, I only saw the first one. But it seems really creepy and dark and depressing and... I don't know. Definitely not my kind of thing. I do, however, think that Agent Smith is one heckuva movie villain. Actually, he's by far the most interesting...
