if you got the collector's club pic of Rowlf, the lobsters are in there...they look pretty good sized...
at least i THINK those are the lobsters...and don't forget those were prototypes, so they're at 1.25 scale (thanks again for the answer Ken) but still in scale with the Rowlf we saw.
i heard that about Mulgrew, shame i've never met her...
as far as NW cons, i couldn't begin to guess...i work with one called http://www.inconjunction.org every year, and it was through it (kinda) that i met all these people. (we're having a mini Lost in Space reunion next year). and...
i can't...just quoting her would get me booted for language...let's just say she wasn't very plesant.
in her defense, though...i hear she's mellowed out quite a bit since then...when i met her it was still fairly early in the series (don't remember how many years back offhand, though).
my...
so it's HIS fault...i've met a couple of sci-fi actors that will ONLY talk to you if you're kissing their butts...remind me sometime and i'll tell you about an experience i was party to involving Marina Sirtis.
of course, for every one of her, there's someone like Dwight Shultz, with whom i...
yep...i have one of the batman too, and it'll make it up eventually, but i'll probably use captain america before that
i'm a big fan of the tim drake robin, so it'll do until they come out with that (i hope, i hope...man i could SO be bribed for a good review with a DCD tim drake robin...i'm...
oh, what i wouldn't give...
but i can't afford that AND BotCon (i think i've probably said that a couple of times...heh), and i already sent BotCon money. curse my lack of planning!!
Re: Hmm...looks expensive...
Foz, I'll give you a ride! that way I can bring the DIP!!
HA!
I kill me!
(sorry, man...it was just so easy, and i couldn't resist)
i'd never use a Muppet line, you'd all get it to easily
seriously, if you want to see the funniest thing ever, watch that episode of the Clerks animated series. the one where Jay sues the Quick Stop...the line is actually from the end of that episode. i laughed so hard i nearly wet myself.
ooooooooooooo...stuff that hasn't been talked about...
and "not been talked about" Muppet stuff too? i'm already beginning to salivate...you must be TRYING to make me go broke...heh
and a comic? you mean one you guys are doing, or doing figs for? man...that's gonna bug me.
ih...no biggie. i can see where it would have been confusing to anyone who hadn't seen the last quote...
you're lucky you're going to San Diego...I sent in my money for BotCon, THEN realized that BotCon was literally days before ComiCon. i'd be getting back from Ft. Wayne and have to repack...
okay, you are correct, "Have fun storming the castle" is from Princess Bride (and you get 10 points) but he was right too...
the one from Clerks animated was "OH NO, bear is driving car, how can that be?!"
and now i see the inherent flaw with this little "name that quote" game: every time...
THAT was mostly what i was talking about...let them run their company themselves...i think they're doing a pretty good job so far.
well, that was the basic point anyway...in retrospect, i may have gotten a little carried away...
give the Palisades guys (and Ken in particular) some credit...they, more than any toy company i've ever seen, seem to pay attention to what the fans say. the fact that Ken (who we all know has more important things to be doing) comes in here so often and puts up with all the...junk that we give...
heh...didn't even think about that...i just like keeping things interesting...i have a Batman one too, but anyone who knows me knows that i'm a huge Robin fan.
now guess where the signature's from...
