indeed! but you'll have to watch when i switch avatars...because i change the second part of the sig line to match. like when i had Spider-Man, it was "Grail42, Oracle of Geek Knowledge...does whatever a spider can"
on my email it's "Grail42, Oracle of Geek Knowledge...or something like that"
but that's just it, i'm going AS one of those sites that takes all the pictures, and causes the bonanza. i've always wanted to go...ever since i found out it existed, it's why i started writing for Zen, why i talked them into letting me do toy reviews...it's all been leading up to the fact that...
Rob Lowe walked because even though he was getting paid more than everyone else (except maybe Sheen), he was very upset that he didn't get a raise when everyone else did. so as of march he's leaving the show. i havn't heard who's replacing him yet
well, i don't have a "Muppet" name. but "grail" comes from an excessive love of both Monty Python and The King Arthur mythos. i usually use the number "42" with it, hence my sig line, as tribute to Douglas Adams (i actually cried when i found out he passed...right there at work, it was...
honestly...i like it! i really do. it hits all the bases, covers the whole gamut of Muppets, and updates the show to a more contemporary setting.
impressive work!
"gorry,Oracle of duel monsters knowledge.......more than meets the liver........"
that's pretty funny...nobody has ever adapted/stolen my "oracle of geek knowledge" line before. sweet!
man, everyone (me too) went nuts when the Club packages started arriving...you should probably be glad you WEREN'T here.
i do have an actual question, i think i remember you saying that Beaker not having holes in his feet was an oversight...does this mean that the rest of the playset figs...
one way or another, my information says they should be making the announcement ANY time now. i really hope it's not in march, though...i'm already going to NY in febuary for ToyFair, and i really don't know if i can afford to do it again a month later. and if i have to choose, it's gonna be...
okay, here seems like as good a place as any to post this, especially since i hate starting new threads...
according to my email, Diamond does indeed have this months Toyfare set to come out next Wednesday, Aug 14th. this is the one with the Animal (or Skeletor...who for the record looks...
remember someone asking if you ever find yourself quoting Muppet movies in life...well here's one of mine:
"You and your hobbies!!"
just kidding, Luke...really...
until they run out, it DOES include 1 VC Beaker figure, with an option to purchase one more (it's $15 plus S&H) and they do accept PayPal on the site

how did i miss a BotCon thread? sorry man...was this originally supposed to be part of the other thread?
sorry to hear that you couldn't go this year, next year's is in Chicago, maybe i'll see you there!
heh...i used to be a manager at dollar tree...
basically, they buy stuff that's been sitting in someone's warehouse for years. it's stuff that's been sitting there, taking up space, for so long that they're almost BEGGING gor someone to come buy it. then a store like dollar tree will back...
