Grrrrr... I really don't understand what these corporate people are thinking. They make these policies for all the salespeople to follow, claiming that "survey results" indicate that this approach equals more sales as well as happier customers. Puh-lease. I know when I walk into a store I...
Well, I thought the finale was pretty good. The return of Daphne's brothers was hilarious, as was the unconventional birth of Niles and Daphne's baby and the mix-up with Frasier's farewell announcement. I thought it was a good mix of funny and sad. I wonder what they'll be up to now...

I agree, Paula does seem to get really emotionally involved. It looked to me like Randy was crying too, though! That surprised me. But yeah, the finale definitely won't be as interesting now.

Oooh, yay to the clothes from the dryer and to the uber-buttered popcorn. Though it's a little too hot out right now for me to enjoy clothes fresh out of the dryer...

Well, last night was a bit of a surprise, wasn't it? I was pretty disappointed; Latoya was my favorite. A Fantasia/Latoya showdown would've been great. Now if it comes down to Diana and Jasmine, that's going to be a major bummer... This season is just all screwed up. I mean, I think both...
I have a habit of walking around the neighborhood after a rainstorm and picking up worms from the street and sidewalk and putting them in the dirt before they dry up on the cement. Most of them probably eventually crawl back out, but I guess it's worth a shot...

Yeah, I'd only heard of a couple of the songs they did too. I think two were repeats from last year; Clay did "Everlasting Love" and Kim Locke did "It's Raining Men." That's kind of a bummer about Paula, but then you can't expect too much out of a late-night host. Clay's been on Leno a couple...
Our new children's zoo is opening!!! :excited::excited::excited: They started working on it a couple years ago, and it's finally finished. It was a huge renovation project, and it sounds like the new one will be really nice. One of the star attractions will be penguins, which sound like a lot...
I agree that the show hit its peak when Daphne and Niles finally got together. Even though the show revolved around Frasier, that subplot became the most driving conflict of the whole show. I was very much hoping that Niles would get together with Daphne (he and Maris were already separated...
Did anybody see the parody of the Friends finale on SNL? I didn't watch the last episode but heard enough about it to know what they were alluding to. They had Bush and Rumsfeld (Bush oddly played by Will Forte, who I don't think has ever played him before, but Rumsfeld hilariously portrayed...
Yeah, when I saw him I was like, "Wow, there'e something really different about him..." Took me a second to realize what it was. As a lifelong glasses-wearer, I approve. :)

I heard about that! He was on Letterman the other night and saying that apparently they were going to get him and James on the Today Show together but when they invited James, he said no way and directed some very colorful language to be passed along to Kelsey on his behalf. I guess he's a...
My aunt lent it to me, knowing I'd only read the first book... She should have lent me the rest of the books in the series! :p She has them all. I've been wanting to read them all, but it's just one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet...

I thought tonight was good but not exciting. I really don't like disco... I wish someone had done If You Could Read My Mind. Then again, there's something mighty irreverent about disco-fying Gordon Lightfoot... I think Jasmine is out, and Diana next week. I felt bad for Jasmine tonight. I...
So now that Friends is over, who's excited about Frasier? I have to admit I never could really get into Friends, though I did think Joey was a fun character. But I watched Frasier all the time in syndication before they replaced it with local news :grouchy:. No M*A*S*H and no Frasier makes...
I read it a couple years ago. LOVED the cover. LOVED the first chapter. Didn't understand a word of the rest of it. I suppose it was intended more for those who had already read the whole series thus far... My favorite part was those ridiculous metaphors in the first chapter: "The day was as...
