I didn't really care for him much either he always reminded me of like Droops crazy brother or something.
I think the roll would have been filled much better by Digit.
I agree Muppet treasure island is a good example of him doing a good job.
I'm starting to wonder though it's not some one else telling to make kermit more peppy and not the dry wit kind of guy jim made him into be.
I'll point out the exact things he does that bug me ok?
The "uh yeaaah" "ook uh uh yeah yeah" "oh wow!" "ok!" uh uh uh"
mhmmm yeah when he does that it bothers me because the only time I ever recall kermit doing that is when he was being a smug movie star in muppet take Manhattan but steve...
I'm not bashing him his kermit just isn't like jims is watch them both and you can see Steve is adding his own personality into it.
I have no problem with steve witmire but I know plenty of other people who can do a much better job.
He does plenty of other wonderfull character he just doesnt...
ah sorry I tend to forget about the disney Movies you got me there. ;)
I agree Eric's Fozzie is pretty darn close and I also agree about your comments about steve's kermit I know it will never be the same but it wouldn't kill him for him to study jims kermit a bit.
Yeah he's one of mine as...
I think he should be a guest on a new muppet show episode i say why not we hed edgar bergen in the old days now we have Terry who is amazingly talented.
Yeah he doesn't perform Kermit either but hey no ones perfect :P
And yeah I know this it's not hard to get Jerry Nelson to come in and do Floyd with Animal.
Yeah but didn't Animal hang around the rats before gonzo did?
The whole Gonzo Rizo thing really didn't happen untill muppets tonight.
Yes I mentioned it a few posts above...man I'm feeling like robin right now lol
"no one notices me"
I think it was for the spoof but I kinda liked it it sure beats his bald look he's been sporting as of late.:halo:
That was me and this show and Terry winning does prove allot!
They where in spoof costumes....so you want them to look like that all the time like beaker wearing a wig and swedish chef wearing a britsh flag tie all the time lol.
I think Animal was extra hairy to look like david hasilhof since he's really hair but it did make animal look like he's grown a...
Thanks! & Exactly why change something when it's always been fine the way it is! The only thing new would be the guest stars. It obviously isn't hard to build a set just like the old one look @ the weezer video.
Do you cast the sculpts you make out of sculpy though when you sell them to others? and if you do how do you do it and do any of your sculpts ever break?
Jim Henson, Zoot, & Lips.
And good lord I open all of mine and I refuse to pay more than 50.00 for a figure that out of the box allready...taking them fresh out of the box is half the fun!
