There was plenty of "But Rocco's just a ROCK!" "A rock who likes to drive!" and all that stuff around Season 35 or so. It really surprised me actually that Elmo would get so angry about Zoe and Rocco though. He likes to pretend too, and Rocco never really hurt him that bad, did he?
I like it when Wembley is sobbing to Cotterpin in A Tune for Two:
"I did something that I was supposed to do, but that I didn't wanna do, but I knew I had to do, and now I don't know what to doooo!!!!"
"Well, don't worry, I know just how to help you."
"You dooooo?"
It's way funnier...
There's something that I've always thought was a little bit silly in MTM: Piggy gets all jealous about Kermit and Jenny hanging out together, but really, would Kermit, or any Muppet, ever marry a real human? Of course, Piggy could be just acting, but still, you'd think she'd know...
Yeah, and I remember this one episode where Elmo got pretty upset at Zoe for treating Rocco like he was more special than Elmo during their special play date together. And when Elmo would blow up at her for acting like the rock was alive, he would always start to realize how Zoe felt and try to...
I am really, really, RULLY liking this Monster at the End of the Show idea. Just a change from Murray's intersitials might be nice. Also, I kind of hope they can do something about the longer segments and somehow make room for more little clips like they used to. We don't see enough of those...
Hey, that sounds like it might be pretty funny. Elmo and Zoe had tension like that (what with Rocco and all), but Elmo and Abby have never had that. I'd love to see Elmo get all frazzled up about some spell Abby did. Also, what's Rhyming Block?
Sorry about the double post, but one thing I just remembered and I had to mention here:
I remember a few years ago my cousin and uncle saw my Fisher-Price Scooter doll, and my cousin said, "Hey, that's Hermit the Frog!" My uncle followed up with, "Really? I thought it was Elmo." I admit, I...
And Fraggle too. So that's why they always do it in Canada. I always thought it was so they could get big, empty spaces (for a yellow studebaker, perhaps?). But it still looks weird to me...I mean, why do a SS movie in North Carolina when New York, where SS takes place, is right in front of...
LOL, that is definitely the truth. Some relationships just have to click like that; no one can force them. Like with Baby Bear and Telly; Baby Bear was originally meant to be a one-episode character, but then he kept coming back and sharing some episodes with Telly, and pretty soon this...
WILL YOU STOP THAT THIS INSTANT??!? This problem MUST be addressed, and I will not--
oh my gosh, is that who i think it is??
yah! it's elmo!!
no, it's gotta be the great grover from sesame street. you remember, jim hanson's muppets?
hey, i thought jim hanson was a scientologist or something...
Yes, definitely something short in NYC. Sesame Street would just look so much cooler there. And they already have scenes in the real world on the show already, so kids would be somewhat familiar with the sets (I honestly thought shooting Elmo in Grouchland in Toronto or wherever was kinda weird...
This is sooo awesome!!!!! I screamed like Piggy about to be on Broadway when I heard the news. First Muppets 2, then the Fraggle deal working again, and now THIS?!?! Best time to be a muppet fan ever!
Did it really? I guess that sounds about right...I've been too afraid of watching the older stuff to actually find out.
Sounds like a Sam the Eagle speech to me. I'm a teenager, and I watch Rudolph Nureyev dance Swan Lake with a pig ballerina. I think that's culture enough.
...why?? Simply, WHY?
I was kinda surprised when we were talking about SS at school and one of my good friends said about Cookie, "Yeah, I heard he's Veggie Monster now, isn't that right?" I was like, "NO! Of course not!" I didn't actually think people believed that rumor. I also get a bit...
I so agree there!!!!! What I've been thinking for years. I love his debut episode; he's just all eager to earn some money and get himself a job in show business. And the first season puppet is just so adorable!! When I first got into the Muppets, I watched that episode and said, "I HAVE to have...
LOL, one possible explanation...
No way; it can't be too late to bring in Skeeter! She rocks! She'd bring out a lot in Scooter.
I remember watching Muppet Babies all the time when I was little and I never even noticed Skeeter. Either it was because they were twins and seemed like the...
Hey, have any of you guys noticed in GMC, there's this guy in the scene where Gonzo's taking pictures at the Dubonnet Club who's with someone other than his wife? Me & my friend were watching it just yesterday when we noticed that two seconds later Kermit and Piggy are dancing on the floor...
And then when he sings a Paul Simon song at the end of the show and calls out to Paul, "You can do it your way, but I'm gonna do it mine!" Sounds lunatic, like a Gonzo should be.
Also, it's not a Muppet per say, but it always gets me: "So put some Jell-o down your pants!"
Makes me imagine...
