Here you guys go...this is my Kermit. Although, I am not done, I still have to wrap the gift and work on Animal next. He is going to be kinda wired up with lights and garland and wearing a nice red vest with a Tee underneath.
Enjoy...
So his mouth just drops now? it does not go up when you push on the lower jaw? I hope mine stays strong. Sorry to hear that Antony. Maybe you got a defect one. I hope you can fix it.
I don't know, it just looks really weird. Cause when you see pitures of Animal, I just don't see the crossed eyed part. All the mod pictures I see, he is looking at his nose. I have pictures of the original posers and there eyes are not crossed to that extent, infact, it just doesn't look like...
I don't know why everyone is changing there pupils on there Animal. I look at pictures and I don't see that he is cross-eyed at all. Also, Terry told me that his pupils are suppose to be a half inch and no smaller. It just looks odd to me to see that Animal looks like he is cross eyed. :halo:
The hair was something I just kept playing with till I got it the way it is. I kept comparing pictures to get it right. But sometimes the pictures have short hair and others have it long. I went with the long version sice I thought it looked better. I am pretty happy with his look.
I still want to make a collar. I think I am going to go to the hardware store and see what I can find. I am having trouble finding plastic tubing to go around his neck. I am sure I will find something, I just have to keep looking is all. Thanks guys, Glad you like his new make-over! :halo:
OK everyone, here is my final and finished Animal. I got his tongue done, got the mustache pinned back, and furred his brow. Then I trimmed his beard. I think I finally got him the way I wanted. I like his new makeover. Here you go everyone my new Animal...
That would have been a sight to see Davina...seeing you walk around with Kermit in your hands and trying on clothes in the baby section. Sorry, but that made me giggle! I am going to custom make mine when I find the right material to make him a Santa outfit and hat....if I have time.
I could have not said it any better my friend! I agree with you Frogboy. ;)
I am glad to see that there is two of us with the right attitude.
Also, I like to add that Amy told me that MR production staff are well aware of these "little problems" and that these products do have to go...
I am lucky that my Animal's eyes are just right when I received him. They are not far apart like most others said theres was. My Animal's eyes are much closer. So this was something I did not have to change.
I have ripped the tongue out and tell you the truth, his mouth still does not shut do to the top and bottom plate attached to each other. For some reason, the mouth mechanism is not that great. But I did notice that the mouth closes a little bit better when I replaced the tongue. I have made one...
I'm using just regulay soft foam. Terry told me that's what he used. I still haven't got around to dying it yet though. Been so busy working. I might get around to it sometime this week I hope. I got to play around with the Rit Rose Pink Dye to get it just right anyways. I don't want it real...
Yes it is a flaw, but it is something that can be fixed and is so minor. I did a whole revamp on the puppet, but he is where I want him. As for the rest, I have good faith and who knows what to expect, I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch just yet. It just happens this way...
What I don't get is that MR said that Gonzo is 26 inches tall. Kermit is 24 inches tall, how could that be? When you look at the prototype of Gonzo next to Kermit, he is shorter. This is really weird. :concern:
You can always fix that problem by taking him out of the bag and getting a marker and then putting him back in the bag. Maybe that will help. About his arms, yes they are that limber to where he cannot hold big drumsticks. I don't know if they got smaller ones to try out, that may help. I have...
