So sorry to hear of your loss Kevin. But she is now at home, and at peace. Remember that death is not a loss, but it is a transition to a better peaceful place, and once again you will see her in the next life. She has not left you, she is still in your heart! :sympathy:
Now we have to wait till 2009....that seems like a LONG LONG TIME!
Kinda worries me since didn't Travis say that they had the license for only five years or something like that? So that means we only have two more years of these guys and thats that, or I hope they get to renew the license...
Remember that none of us really know anything other than what Terry has told us. Otherwise, we are all going by our own instints of what we think might happen, but nothing is offical as of yet.
I would rather wait and get him at his best than to not get him done correctly. It is nice to know that Travis has stepped in and making him the right way.
According to Tom, he still confirmed that Fozzie will be out. May not be today, or tomorrow, but he will be out. Besides, Terry just got this news, but it is good news to know where Fozzie stands at this moment. Now that we have solid facts.
Also, I am going to ask Tom about the Comic Con...
I already knew that Disney now owns the Muppets. I was refering to Henson Muppet characters....meaning that they cannot do Sesame Street or any other Henson movies other than the Muppet Show.
According to CSTom at MR, there is a limited amount of Gonzo and Animal left in there stock. MR only has the license for "The Muppet Show" only so they are not able to produce other Henson characters outside or The Muppet Show.
I heard somewhere on the line that you have to have degrees in engineering and design as well as computer skills. Kinda like they do in the movie business. I always wanted to get into something like that as well, but too much schooling for me. :)
I wonder what he CSTom meant by "News as it's approved" meant or I am just not comprehending it for some reason. I thought he was talking about Fozzie or something.....hmmm. :o
CSTom's comment:
It would have been nice if they could have reworked Animal again. You know, make his mouth close all the way, and his eyes able to shut and open all the way without pinning them back. As well as giving him a chain and collar to boot would be nice. This is the one that needed to be more updated...
We can all hope so. This is such a waste though when there are other characters to tackle. Why do something that is already done and why can't they just make us the clothes and leave it at that. I am not really sure if I want to buy another Kermit when I have one...just without the coat and hat...
Quite interesting. I wonder if they are planning on using the new company to make the Kermit. If I had my way, I would rather them rework on Animal so we can get his mouth closed and other things worked out on him. Just sell me the coat and hat for Kermit and I will be happy with that.
I don't believe that the bear is the last to be made...it has been said several time out of Travis's post and on MR post and everyone keeps assuming the worst to happen when we are not sure of anything. Why can't we just wait and see instead of guessing.
CSTom at MR told me that "he IS" going to happen and that came from him. so there is no if or maybe according to him. so I cannot wait till we get him! YAY!
