Never trust IMDb. Anyone can add anything to it. Once, and probably still now, Barney was listed as appearing on the show, which is far from reality. Whenever I try to add and delete, nothing ever happens.

I guess it's all a fact of life, but I remember been horrified when Maria broke her nose. Did Big Bird accidentally slam his door on her, on was it something else? Just as a point of reference, I was born in 1986, and had the opportunity to watch the show on-and-off until 1996 or so.

That would be interesting, if they filmed international variants of the same specials. Say, Hu Hu Zhu and Little Plum from China, traveling to those countries, Zeliboba, Businka and Kubik, from Russia... When was the last on-location special? There were spots in that New Year's special...
