Not sure if you can expect it ever touring agian...it's too 80's-ish with Tee Hee's outfit and appearance, and changing it all around with Elmo, and Abby would just make the show look dopey.
I saw him in the first SS Live show I went to, Big Bird & The ABC's, back in 1994 (imagine that later in the 90's LOL). I remember him being VERY energetic in the show, in fact, I think he even literally jumped off the stage at one point.
I found it funny at one point when he is doing 'Hip to...
I think compared to BB and the ABC's I wouldn't have enjoyed this show much. I think it's because that if I saw it I would have cried when Queen Yellow would have put that spell on Big Bird and make it seem as if she was 'killing him'. I use to be all sentimental about things happaning in...
Two headed Monster was only in one SSL show, they were in 'Big Bird's Super Spectacular Show', that was the 1981-1982 show. Speaking of Two headed.....anyone got any idea what the costume was like in that show? I mean....how could people perform in that thing? LOL. In fact, Gladys the cow and...
SO That is probably why I didn't see Telly in 'Big Bird & The ABC's' back in 94'. You know the version I saw of that and When I Grow Up were theatre shows.
I researched 'BB's ABC's' and found some differences here and there, and according to my show program I have. In the original(which is...
Yeah from the looks of it....Meanie was a REALLY bad guy...worse than PT, The Yellow Queen, and Tedious Molehill all put together. I can def. understand why it probably didn't do too well. One page mentions Meanie saying he was going to destroy :('s paperclips and :insatiable:'s cookies!
I got the program off ebay and received it today. There was some nice live action photos in the back(of coarse none of the rarer characters, just the standard ones like BB, Oscar, Cookie etc.).
Anyway, the program's last page in the illustrated show scenes only stoped after the Count's...
Yeah I do remember that happaning as well, Grudgetta did bring out the spider in the original version...now the new version I saw a video and the spider is hung from like a cealing and dropped down.
I remember seeing the original 'When I Grow Up'. I do also remember Betty Lou in that, but the only thing I recall about her in that show was in the 'Women Can Be' number. I also remember Roxy had more of a bigger role than she does now, especially her version of Train Engeneering number...
Just wondering, has anyone seen this show in person or have the program? I def. already know the cast list and such, I just was kind of wondering if anyone remembered seeing this show, and I always also wondered how the heck did the bad guy, Mr. Meanie choose a humble little street like Sesame...
WOW, most of those songs were definitely taken and altered from the SSL shows around that time, such as Big Bird's ABC's, and BB's Sesame Street Story. Wonder why, they did this around the mid 90's as well there with the 'Ring around the Fun', and 'You and me at Sesame' Shows
So correct me if...

I loved Big Bird & The ABC's, that was my all time favorite, and first show I saw. The weirdest thought was the fact that it was 1994 when I saw it in my area. Than many years later I looked and saw that that tour ended by mid 1992, but alas, it was great, and still had the retro Sesame feeling...
I was just wondering if anyone could give me the cast and song/scene line up of 'Sleeping Birdie'? The only characters I've heard of being in it are Big Bird, Tee Hee, Queen Yellow, and the Amazing Mumford(probably the ONLY SSL show he ever appeared in!).
I'm pretty sure I isn't in the new 'Elmo Grows Up' version, but it bares asking. They they include that scene before 'I Love Trash' where there was kind of Nutcracker Ballet dance performed by Oscar and Grungetta. I vaguley remember seeing that back at the Lowell Theatre in Jan 95' when I saw...
Hey everyone, finally crawled out of my rock.:search:
I remember Let's Play School as well. The show was interesting, yes. Funny thing is I saw it back in 1998 at the Lowell Memorial Autotorium here in MA, and the show toured way before that back around 90' and maybe 95' too. Sometimes the...
