    That is not vintage BTW. Vintage toys were not available, only 3 diff. plush dolls. Vinyl records can be found on Ebay. I do have a resin kit of Jareth, a lifelike worm and a realistic Ludo wall plaque if interested.

    Sorry... forgot that ;) But IMO Henson is mainly a childrens entertainer! All his works are mainly for children. Most people I know think even Dark Crystal and Labyrinth as childrens movies.

    While technically great, Del Toro movies are generally too surrealistic and depressive IMO.

    Yes, I kinda liked the new Indy Jones too, not as much as the first 2, but it has the best cinematography of all 4. Stop Motion is much cheaper as far as I know.

    Well... there are already a lot of very well made stop motion movies, and also a lot of Pinocchio movies. But there is only ONE Dark Crystal, no other movie can compare to it. Maybe Camerons AVATAR... but no ... it has humans in it and lacks any magic.

    Thank you for the link to the scans! While the coloring is good, the artwork is too simple for my taste. It doesnt really look like the movie.
