yeah dude...definitely be careful. a lot of those Yahoo! groups are a pretty misleading. a group might be in the puppet category, but has nothing at all to do w/ puppets. well, at least not the kind of puppets we talk about on this forum. ;) :concern:

yes...my wife and i crashed at 10! we're expecting our first baby to be due any day now, and we had spent about 4 hours at the hospital on new year's eve. both of us were exhuasted. no baby yet, either! :concern: happy new year! :)

"gender doubting thomas" is a hilarious name for a puppet. very creative stuff. obviously not for everyone, but creative.

if you used a pattern to cut out the foam, then you can use the same pattern to cut out the cloth (just make it bigger). then sew the sides together, flip it inside out, and pull it over the foam...you said it, like a glove. there are some pictoral descriptions of this on the web, but i can't...

i just picked up a few yards of foam and some 3M super 77 adhesive spray from joann's fabric. i've used some crappy sprays in the past, but thought i'd give this one a shot. any feedback on it?

so, it's not quite as bizarre as a women's prison, but i think the strangest place i've done a puppet show is at a local retirement home. there were about 20 old folks that attended. :boo: 1/2 of them were constantly talking to themselves during the show, and the other 1/2 were nodding off...

thanks for your help...i ended up pulling the crusty ol' super glued eyes off, and fixing them. it looks a lot better. thanks! :)
