    All new Glove & Boots

That's good. I like the "Student Film" too. But the Music video is the really funny and nicely done!

    Today at the Pediatrician

As we were walking to the exam room, Bradley Whitford (Josh from "The West Wing") was walking out with his daughter. He wrote the episode that aired this past week so I told him I liked the writing.

Any Comic Book Readers Here On Muppet Central?

I've got a ton of Marvel and DC stuff from the 80's and early 90's. Mostly Spider-Man stuff, some X-Men and a lot of Fantastic Four. I'm really a fan of John Byrne's writing and art. Followed him over to DC when he re-launched Superman and then to Darkhorse for the Next Men. I'll...

    Gruff The Goat On Ebay

What if we don't want to? What if we just want to stare, dumbstruck, in admiration? What if we don't have time to respond because we are searching every bookcase and desk drawer and seat cushion for all the change we can gather so we can make even a cursory bid on the Goat? Or maybe just a...

    Fozzie's ears

According to the Muppet Morsels on the DVD, if I remember correctly, Fozzie's ears wiggled and he smiled (his dimples moved) but the mechanisms made the head heavy to handle.

    New puppet on e-bay

He looks like Matt Lauer! For our friends not in the States: Matt Lauer is co-host of "The Today Show" in America.

    The Shat!

http://www.transformedpuppet.com/home/index.htm Click on "The Shat". Hysterical! Especially the second one ("Mr. Tamborine Man") The whole site is great. They've got pictures from "Book of Pooh" and "Crank Yankers".

I now have a new outlook on this semester!

Coming up with your own puppet head patterns involves using geometry and molded foam latex puppets involves chemistry. The more you know how to do well, the better off you'll be in the puppet profession.

I built a handle for the rods from a spring loaded salad or kitchen tongs.

    Experimental Puppet Hand

That is great! I was just thinking about trying to figure something like that out a few days ago but I'm lefthanded so I tend to need to see and experiment with mechanical things rather than conceptualize and build (a nice way of saying sometimes I'm dumb). Again, very nice work.

Seriously, What do want to do when you grow up?

So the more important question now is: What are you doing to get there?

Question about Peter Pan peanut butter

Because Donald Duck is an original Disney Character. Peter Pan did not originate with Disney. Neither did Winnie the Pooh.

Seriously, What do want to do when you grow up?

The ages of the members of this board varies greatly, from as young as 14 to as old as 50 (or higher). With a new year beginning, it seemed like a good question to ask both the young and the old. What advice can those of us who have been through a bit of life give to those of us who have a...

    ATTN: Faux Muppets on eBay

There are some great puppet builders that are part of this group. If it isn't wrong to build and sell replicas of Muppets®, then it isn't wrong to copy some of ravagefrackle's original puppets and sell them. Or Keeermit's. Or any other member of this board. If it weren't for the hard...

How to make a puppet Stand?

I had some left over 3/4 inch plywood from building cabinets. Cut that down to squares, drill a hole close to the middle, a flat head wood screw and a 1 inch dowel.

    Sewing a puppet mouth

I was working on a film shoot as a gaffer about three years ago. I had torn off a longer than needed piece of gaffers tape so I tore about an inch off one end and stuck that piece to my shirt, near the bottom. All the times that shirt has gone through the laundry since then, the tape is...

    Los Angeles to Chicago

We are leaving for Christmas in the morning. Right now in L.A. it is 58 degrees and feels like 58 degrees. Right now in Chicago it is 9 degrees. But that's okay. It feels like -3 degrees. But it could be worse. We could be flying with an 8 month old boy. Oh wait....
