I think they use the terms pro / professional becuase those are hot "keywords" that crazy puppet people like us search for. I search for muppet puppet, professional puppet, pro puppet, monster puppet, etc. So if they didn't use those terms I wouldn't find their puppets.

My biggest problem with my sort of lifelike Grover is they want to grab his big nose, but I think it's just glued on so it scares me. It's cool they want to get closer and are interested, but they can hurt our puppets! I try to yell for mommy when it happens, but sometimes their mom doesn't care...

It sounded like Steve to me, although he didn't use many inflections or get very excited which may have made it seem "kinda off." I thought the puppetry was more off a couple of times than the voice, but I am no expert - just a wanabee.
