Some people don't understand opinions
I think it's a good movie. I agree with what you said. After a while of Gonzo & Rizzo taking center stage, it was a return to form.
WHERE IS THE FREAKING VIDEO, THEY RELEASE THEM EVERY MONDAY AND THIS IS THE ONLY TIME I REMOTELY CARE ABOUT THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE USUALLY FIVE SECONDS LONG AND SUPER BORING!!!!
So is everyone suddenly hating Muppets 2011? It's weird that initially muppet productions receive critical acclaim on this site, but as time goes on, everyone starts to hate them. Same thing happened with VMX. I thought 'Pictures in my head' was a great song.
Considering Frank said this, I would love to hear his thoughts on the 2015 tv series.
But Oz is right about all this, but at the same time, as he said, the muppets are back (or were) and I'm glad we got 2 good feature films even if they weren't as good as the muppets from 1981.
This keeps coming up everyone and it really annoys me.
Yes, Jim wanted to sell the muppets to Disney BUT he wanted Full creative control. His kids just put them in a truck and sent them to the mouse.
Exactly! There were episodes of the muppet show where Kermit was bitter and mean, especially to Gonzo. Has she even seen the show? Either that, or she just said some random words in the moment.

Ha ha. Looks like I made a thread a little while back and didn't see this one.
YES! I watched all the episodes a little while back on Hulu. Don't know why I didn't check it out earlier, amazing show. That finale was just mind-blowing.
Sorry if there's already a thread for this (probably is), but just curious to hear about your collections. Here's what I have
VHS
The Muppet Movie (1993, Buena Vista)
The Great Muppet Caper (1984, CBS/Fox Reissue)
The Great Muppet Caper (1993, Buena Vista)
The Muppets Take Manhattan (1999...
Agreed.
I used to come here regularly back in 2014ish, but mostly drifted away for many reasons. Regardless, this is a great forum and I love posting here.
But he said he should have fired him in the mid 90's. If it were a minor problem, he wouldn't have minded. I still find it fishy that after all this time, it took until now for him to fire Steve
I honestly "felt" like it was real for a good minute.
I got to watching The Muppets 2011 today, and it's still great. I mostly managed to not think about the behind-the-scenes turmoil and thoroughly enjoyed the film.
And frankly, while I'm super sad for Steve, I'm so happy how everyone is back on this forum (at least temporarily). This forum was...
