I dream about muppet VHS tapes all the time. In fact last night I had a dream where my local thrift store had a large case (for 5 bucks) that had most of the muppet playhouse videos, both of the It's the Muppets videos ,the 1 and only release of Muppets Musicians of Bremen and a replica of Ojo...

Okay, I don't have any Muppet patterns right now but when I build my Grover replica in a couple weeks I'll save the patterns

Is there anyone else here who builds Muppet replicas? If you do please show us pictures.

Here is my Animal replica I built last year. I know he's pink, if I rebuild him he will be red but for now I like him.

I actually sent a written letter to The Jim Henson Company asking about that a few years ago. They never responded though :sigh:.

I made a video that had the songs "Fur" and "Dee dee dee". I didn't think anything would happen since those are both obscure songs.

10 of my yt videos were taken down by them. I don't think WMG gives copyright strikes because if they did I would be terminated by now.

I just got some dark brown fur so I will probably make a puppet of Samson from Sesamstrasse. It won't exactly be a replica, he won't be a full body costume, just a big hand puppet. If i can get some pink fur or terrycloth then I will make Tiffy. I still need to refurbish my Herr von Bodefeld and...

If you guys are having trouble with seeing the pictures just let me know and I'll try to fix that.

I make replicas and I wish I could sell you one but I am to cautious about selling licensed characters :sigh:. however if you would like I could send you my patterns and links to were you can find the right materials. Or we could do a puppet trade if you want.

I mean, the people in this play did a pretty good job and some of the puppets aren't that bad but like I said earlier Lucy,Kate and the Bad Idea Bears look weird

I watched this really weird version of Avenue Q The Bad Idea Bears look like Teddy Ruxpins with giant heads, Lucy the **** looks like Jessica Rabbit (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and Kate Monster....no comment.

Now hear is my Hoots the Owl replica. His saxophone is kind of crap though :laugh: I am repairing him right now.

First here is my Herry Monster replica. I know the actual puppet had no legs :laugh: but I wanted to give him the striped pants. I might give him new pants soon though.

That's amazing, I've never seen anyone else make puppets of characters this obscure. The 8 Balls of Fur has been one of my favorite SS segments since I was a little kid
