I've noticed quite a few animated series of yesteryears are treated rather weirdly in syndication.
The most prominent example I can think of is how Rocky and Bullwinkle in syndication includes the first two seasons, with an unusually edited version of the final season, leaving out Seasons...
Hmm, let's take a look at this logically...
The man behind the Chipmunks originally was Ross Bagdasarian (otherwise known as David Seville).
The man in charge of The Chipmunks as we know them today is Ross Bagdasarian Jr.
Yeah, I think it's his son, too.
I'm not sure.
But, wasn't there plans made that the fourth or fifth Shrek movie would be a look at his "origin", and how he grew up living the life of an ogre?
I've never even seen it before, but that was so funny Ross talking about him and Janice TRYING to write a rap for the 90s segment, and him saying it was "the lamest rap two white people could ever write". I cracked up at that! At least Will Smith saved the day.

3. Not sure, never really listened to the Who.
4. Again, you're not the only one, I think just about everyone here despises Reality TV...
Yeah, I guess you got a point.
I remember back in the mid-90s there were these commercials for these Teddy Graham-like snacks called "Dizzy Grizzlies", which were basically Teddy Grahams with a coating of chocolate and tiny sprinkles on their backs.
Anyshoe, in the commercials, the...
I also enjoy watching TV commercials that were actually done as if they were part of an episode from a sitcom back in the day... like on YouTube, there's a commercial where Andy and Barney are hawking Grape Nuts, then there's a commercial where Hogan's Heroes are enjoying some Jell-O with Dream...
TV Land hasn't played in "retromercials" in like four years or so, but I have to admit, there were some good ones... like "Where's the beef?" or "Hey man, you got your chocolate on my peanut butter!"
But I agree with Fraggle, I believe for the most part, it's mostly about revisiting...
