I think a lot of it is influenced by what's on TV.
Seinfeld made sex look like a hobby, and it seems like no other show has made a bigger impact on (American) culture.
But enough about that.
My elementary school was like something out of Mayberry... nobody would swear, there were no fights, kids didn't know what sex was, or things like that (boys were still boys, girls were still girls).
Once I got into middle school, and I had to attend school in the ghetto for three years...
Yeah, anyway, so...
Take a look at this
You think that's how The Chipettes would look had they been introduced in the 60s on The Alvin Show?
Do you think 60s Eleanor would be just as giggly as 60s Theodore? Would 60s Brittany parade around with like a kazoo or something like how 60s...
And who's fault is it? The parents who either try to avoid having "the talk" with their kids, or just simply have no sense of morals and values themselves and could care less what kind of "trouble" their kids get into.
Not only that, but all little kids at that age like to refer to someone they're infatuated with as their "boyfriend" or their "girlfriend"; I'm reminded of that very early episode of The Andy Griffith Show where Andy's upset that all Opie gives to charity is three cents, and he explains he's...
I would hope so... I would think since I don't skip breakfast that I'd be fine, since breakfast is the most important meal of the day...
But then again, people always talk about one way to stay fit is to eat a nice, big lunch, and just have a small, measly little dinner.
