    Ernie and Bert's Apartment

I don't believe they were ever actually assigned ages; originally, though, Ernie was written to be a surrogate child, while Bert was to be like his exasperated father-figure, but apparently that didn't really work out very well. I believe they're simply supposed to be literally ageless so...

MC I Love the New Millennium

But DSL ISN'T slow; it's just about the ONLY RELIABLE internet connection out there. Not bad! Like the Rocky and Bullwinkle reference at the end!

    Chris Appreciation Thread

Indeed, that's exactly what I was thinking, he's the new resident "cool cat"! Plus, you can tell he's having a great time on that show, so that makes his performances even more fun to watch! Chris is just about the best new human character we've seen in a while!

MC I Love the New Millennium

The main problem with dial-up, besides very slow connection, is that you either have to be on the internet, or on the phone, you can't be on both at once. When we still used to have dial-up several years ago, I swear, my mom's gabby friends were ticked off at me ALL THE TIME because they...

MC I Love the New Millennium

Now any internet service you get from a cable company is almost as bad as dial-up! First of all, when you have their connection, you actually have to SHARE it with other people in the general service area, and when that happens, the connection get slower the more people are online at the same...

Did anyone see that new Hannah Montanna episode?

Again, it seems to me that the world just simply WANTS to hate her for various reason, the whole pressure on her to be "the good teen idol" thing is why so many get a kick out of any controversy she finds herself in (ala photo scandals and everything). It doesn't really matter, the audience...

MC I Love the New Millennium

Oh puh-lease! Five to ten minutes for ONE page to load? THAT isn't slow? I find it hard to believe that MC would load instantly on dial-up, considering the animated menu, and several other high-quality graphics it has. :smirk:

*Outside the mall* SNOWTH: Alright, I'm through reasoning, now let's get down to some serious bribery... how about five dollars in unmarked bills? HOOKER: Get lost, twerp. SNOWTH: Look, my buddy's GOTTA have a girl at his party... *Pulls money out of pocket* Here... uh... twenty bucks...

    POP! (Happy Birthday!)

*So, moments later at the food court* SNOWTH: ... He's a really great guy, wonderful, offbeat sense of humor, and a brilliant conversationalist... the only problem is not too many people come to his party, and it would mean so much to him if you could find it in your heart to come to his...
