Do the fanfics you read HAVE to have them EXACTLY like they are on the show and in the movies? There's actually SEVERAL GOOD fanfics out there where they're older, that aren't all about the boys being hard, and the girls being skanky!

Kind of like why do they need to tell us its "fruit punch" when we realize it's supposed to have a fruity taste to it? Why tell us it's "yellow mustard" when we realize mustard is yellow? Why do birds? Why do they?
