I said it a long time ago in my blog, but I'll say it again - it's people like that who gave Christianity a bad name - you've got people out there who never belonged to a religion before, nor had anything to do with God before, and they're thinking "I thought this God was supposed to love...
Lol, if I did, I would've posted something like this in the Friends and Family board, not here. ;)
Though if I recall correctly, I do believe our own Kev was here in K-Town for Comic Con a few years ago.
After going through this thread, I have one question to ask...
In addition to That... uh... that... person... that Beau said the same pre-recorded "anyway" twice about before... anyway, where is HeraLirambar, anyway?
Something has to explain why as I was watching PBS today, I saw a promotional bumper for our local ETP-TV, featuring the current general station manager Teresa James (whose been with the station for a long time)... and Elmo...
And I mean Elmo, not some digital/chromokey effect that would've...
It's usually the conservative Christians *cough*Republicans*cough* who do that... ETP-TV (our local PBS affiliate) would probably still have their Friends of Sesame Street Club today if it wasn't for them spreading the word that shows like Sesame Street, Arthur, Clifford the Big Red Dog and even...
I thought his name was Tito?
No seriously, I never remember anyone refering to him as Gidget... only Gidget I know is Sally Field, lol; and I could've sworn some kind of TV special featured him several years ago, and refered to him as Tito...
But, maybe I'm wrong, lol.
I think some sort of shade of blue would contrast rather nicely with the reddishness of the otter puppet, and since he's not exactly a bright or vibrant red, I wouldn't go with a bright nor vibrant shade of blue either.
Just my thoughts on "color coordinating", lol.
True, and there were some references to the cartoon as well - like Dave's disasterous dinner with his current love interest being ruined by the baby Chipmunks, and the whole thing with "Uncle" Ian was very similar to the episode introducing "Uncle" Harry.
Reminds me of what I heard on a movie...
I never did know what to think about Lady GaGa, quite frankly, I didn't even know what she was SUPPOSED to be; I mean I saw her on Ellen's show, but I didn't know if she was a singer, or some kind of carnival sideshow attraction or whatever, lol.
I'd be curious to see what the other Muppets would look like, lol.
And Prawnie, I'd love to see a Halloween special; Halloween's a favorite of mine, though there's really not a lot of good Halloween specials out there other than It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! That Elmo Halloween...
I know how you feel, though it has been kind of dispelled for me when I was shooting Steve D'Monster out by a dumpster in our apartment complex, and two little kids happen to come along and see what I was doing; but it all worked out well, they were genuinely interested in seeing what I was...
No, I really haven't; when news of the comic books came out, I've been looking through comic stands all over town and have seen nothing. As far as merchandise is concerned, all I've seen were TWO Palisades sets... four years ago... in a comic book store.
But then, my town IS a hundred years...
Ah yes, I know what a pain lack of monitors can be; my cheap little camcorder comes with one of those pull-out LCD screens, that's about as close to a "monitor" I can come with, lol.
