He doesn't seem as loved as much as Elmo to me... I don't see any Big Bird merchandise (save for the Follow That Bird DVD), I don't see Big Bird being given special attention on the show, I don't hear anything about Big Bird appearing on so-and-so's show(s)... it's ALL Elmo these days.
This summer's certainly been a lot more bearable than they have been the past few years or so... again, we've had a lot of rain this summer, so that's been a big help.
Unfortunately, now that summer's starting to wrap up, it's just going to get hotter now; and there's El Nino to contend with...
Wellp, the weather reports are forecasting a severe heat wave for us this weekend, where we can expect temperatures up to the lower-to-mid 90s, and heat indexes up to 100 with plenty of abundant sunshine.
Mudfrogs!
Awwwww, OMG, he is SO cute! ! !
Seriously, that thing is adorable! If you're going to make more in his style, I'd suggest make different colors as well... maybe like a green, red, blue sort of thing.
Sadly, one thing you have to keep in mind is that puppetry is NOT an in-expensive art form.
Heck, Sid and Marty Krofft at one point were THREE MILLION dollars over budget working on H.R. Pufnstuf.
I don't like Firefox.
You know something, now that you all mention it about it being possible Adware? I notice every week when McAfee does its automatic, scheduled virus scan, it ALWAYS detects an Adware infection, but whenever I click remove it, it always comes up with an error message...
I remember in my Grade 10 Flash animation class, we all got together to record a mantra-ish song...
It went a little something like this...
"SpongeBob, SpongeBob, SpongeBob is gay!
SpongeBob, SpongeBob, SpongeBob is GAY!"
Just like that, it was really funny too, you could hear us...
I always find such puppets in large Christian book stores, and these are usually back in the children's/home school supplies section, though I don't usually pay attention to the price of them, because personally, I find them to be relatively cheapely made, and they're not very flexible.
These...

The Home Alone movies (save for the fourth) were definitely favorites of mine; Hughes gave us a LOT of enjoyable movies, did he not?
This is really sad.
MrsPepper told me that TV Land Canada currently airs Petticoat Junction; I've never seen it, but my best friend has, and says its relatively boring compared to Green Acres. Speaking of which, GA and Lucy are two of those shows that TV Land seems to have a love/hate thing going on with... ala...
Reminds of that joke Colin Mochrie once did playing Weird Newscasters - "A man swallowed whole by a whale today managed to escape by running all the way down to the end until he was pooped out!"
While that's true for the most part, there's plenty of voice dubbing done with the Muppets.
Frank Oz performed Ma Otter for Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, though Marilyn Sokol dubbed her voice; the reason she didn't do the puppetry is because Jim felt she couldn't do passable job with the...
Here's a dumb blonde joke I once read in Reader's Digest, that was based on a true story that involved gangsters...
There once was a ventriloquist, who took to the stage, with his little dummy sitting on his knee, and proceeds to go into a series of dumb blonde jokes; everyone in the audience...
