Maybe they're listing celebrities that the current viewing demographic would be more familiar with...
But I DID notice that Henry Winkler as Fonz is on the cover.
They can be, but for the most part, you don't really notice them if you don't pay attention.
And I believe Luke said a long time ago that one thing you can try is apply just a little bit of pressure with a damp (not soaking wet, but damp) cloth where the dead pixels are, or there's supposedly...
Well gang, when I got up this morning, and tried the CD again, the drive still wouldn't read it, so with no other alternative, I gave it the ol' toothpaste treatment that everyone is saying actually works like a charm... and guess what?
It didn't work. As a matter of fact, it actually made...
I simply Googled (my friend's going to kill me for Googling, lol) "how to treat a scratched CD", and like I said, all these sites and pages came up claiming toothpaste really worked; but I had to check with you guys first to see what you all had to say, lol.
Thing of it is, I don't have a CD-R that I would consider a "coaster", and this is the only one that appears to be significantly scratched - all the others are okay, and have no problems being read by the drive.
I think what I might do is wait until tomorrow... I've found back when the driver...
Ironically, some of what I've read is one of the reasons why the toothpaste trick is recommended - to avoid having to pay professionals to do it for you.
There was an article saying that the toothpaste (especially gritty pastes) might cause new scratches during the cleaning process, but...
The box is a gradient of two different shades of yellow (illusion of rays of sunshine); the Sesame Street sign is in the middle, with green lettering underneath saying "40 Years of Sunny Days", and above and below the captioning are thumbnails of snapshots of various memorable Sesame moments...
Whoa, back up the pineapple here...
Explain this "full screen setting" a bit more to me; does this imply that you can set up your television screen to receive picture in a full screen format (ala the black bars on the sides of the screen, rather than the top and bottom)? If so, then I MIGHT...
From what I've read, gel pastes should be avoided at all costs, which works out okay, as my toothpaste does contain baking soda.
Some have even said vaseline works just as well.

I have to say, the box art is beautiful; I'm really excited about this set, I can't wait to have it!
As you know, since I've lost a lot of hard-drives in the past as whatnot, I tend to do A LOT of backup, so I have quite a few CD-Rs full of various files, documents, audio tracks, videos, images, etc that I may want or need for future reference.
I've noticed that my disk driver refuses to...
I've got an old Telly plush from the 80s made by Applause (I think)... you can tell I've had him forever, his eyes have no pupils anymore... he looks dead, lol.
Off topic, I've been to the new Sesame Tree website, and I like the looks of the show.
It was an amusing and good movie, very different from the original series of shorts, as there's a much larger cast than just Wallace, Gromit, and whoever else is in each short.
Well, I tried to do something by proxy a while back to shed some light on the subject, so I contacted Sesame Workshop via e-mail for a confirmation as to what Bob's last name on the show really is.
I never heard back from them, so I guess we'll never know, lol.
