Nobody is attack religion in this thread, we're discussing how some religious people themselves can give it a bad name by a lot of their hypocritical behavior.
Yeah, that was nice, but I'm a little more partial to the still logo from the mid-to-late 80s where he proudly holds up one letter, while an annoyed Simon and Theodore struggle to hold up the rest of "BAGDASARIAN".
I realize that Jamie, and I apologize, but I was using that as an example of Christians who are quick to bash people who are seen as "committing sins".
I also forgot to mention another logo I really like is the 90s updated version of the DiC Kid in Bed (otherwise known as "Thank God that kid's asleep" which makes me howl)... other versions before or after not so much.
As I've mentioned a hundred times before, this whole discussion is reminding me of a blog I did several years ago about how "overzealous" and hypocritical Christians have given the faith a bad name in recent years, and yes, that includes gay bashing and such.
We have no right to be...
I think our former member ThatAnnouncer was a prime example of an open atheist who expressed that sort of POV towards religious people on this forum.
I also have another friend who isn't religious, but has told me that while he doesn't necessarily agree with/believe the history and text...
Super Scooter, stuff like this happens at EVERY forum, not just here.
I HAVE noticed though, there some people here seem to have learned their lesson about being too "fanatic" regarding religion in their posts, but some have yet to learn, and I think it still may take a while at that.
It's...
Holy crap, I'll have to check this place out for myself!
EDIT: Hey, who's the meatball who already registered my e-mail addy?
Well, as I've said a million times, I've always been eccentric, lol.
The 40 Years book says that he DID like the Furry Arms Hotel, and that he was often seen riding his bike through out the Around the Corner area of the studio from time to time.
You know all of 'em, you've loved some of 'em, you've even been scared by some of 'em... but how can you possibly end a show or a movie without the production company's closing logo?
And what a weird thing to be a fan or, I know, but hey, apparently some of us exist, lol.
If you ask me, I...
Not necessarily, they could very well just sit empty for years on in.
Even before I was born, we had a fantastic little burger and ice cream joint here in town (the burgers were the BEST ever... after a while though, their ice cream became gritty and disgusting), until finally in 2006 (which...
Well ya know, several people, including myself, predict that IF The Simpsons ever have a final episode that it would've surpassed M*A*S*H's record anyway.
I can understand that, really.
I can so see that happening if I ever got married...
"Why aren't you changing your name?"
"Well, eventually we'll be getting divorced anyway."
 :sympathy:
I wouldn't for two reasons.
1. I like my name.
2. I've already gotten my name on top of all...
I haven't been around as long as many, but I've been around long enough to remember back in the old days whenever people got married, the bride almost always took their husband's last (sur) name (who came up with "surname" and when?), but I have noticed in recent years (or I guess recent decades...
