Yep - this is where a Story Editor (or Editors) come in - their job is to essentially go over a script before it's met with approval to make sure all of the petty details are accurate - the characters being in-character, the storyline being consistent, making sure that it would work for the...
While I can't comment on variety/sketch shows, usually when it comes to writing for televisions, there's two main aspects...
1. When you have a network show, usually the show has a writing staff - either composed of single writers, or writing partners (ala the famous Ken Levine & David...
It's always so cool that Mike Mozart is here for the people, lol.
I guess I don't have to worry about any of this, considering I haven't logged onto my YT account since they backstabbed us in October, so I guess I'm safe, lol.
I got to reading about the various Krofft logos on the Wiki, and I have to say, I'm completely surprised that their "Psychedelic Constellation" logo from the late 70s to early 90s has a scare factor of medium-to-high and is considered very creepy. I think it's completely awesome, and one of the...
Here's another frequently used plot device, and two biggest examples I can think of is the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show, and a Donald Duck comic book...
There's a giant tower clock in a metropolitan town that apparently everyone in town regulate their lives by the time of that clock, and...

You think someone not knowing Typewriter Guy is bad? That's nothing. Seriously.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the studio does welcome people to visit the set, there's a lot...
It says I have to create a completely new account, different from my current Yahoo! one just to view the photo. :smirk:
For the record, I'm not fond of using flash in general, as sometimes I find that it distorts certain aspects of the photo (like making things appear TOO light in contrast)...
I knew that this one was coming, I just wasn't sure exactly when; but at any rate, here's Big Bird and Murray appearing in today's strip of IDGet...

Haha! This is just my kinda thread, what with me being quite an insomniac from time to time!
Except it's 11:16 am here, so I really have no business complaining about not being able to sleep at the moment, lol.
Actually, a lot of it has to do with audience demographic.... a lot of these networks want to bring in the young crowd and automatically assume that the youngsters will automatically won't want to watch an older show simply because it IS "old".
Well FINALLY TV Land's making a good move, from what I understand, later next month, Bewitched will be returning to their schedule; a show that has long been a favorite of mine.
