Yeah, like I said a while back, practically every non-Henson puppet show out there has SOME sort of Henson connection, whether it's the performers, or people behind-the-scenes.
It's almost kinda like television puppetry is a very insular brotherhood of sorts, lol.
It sure is funny... out of all the emotions out there, love has to be difficult and be the complicated one... happiness is a simple emotion... sadness is a simple emotion... anger is a simple emotion... but love? Nope, love's a complicated emotion.
I took a survey the other day, and one of...
I think whether or not an insert is cut and out of, or faded in and out of depends on how their edited into the show they're used for... though otherwise, not sure if there are multiple prints of the master tapes, especially back in the older days, because that wasn't common place - both H.R...
I remember taking glances as Allegra, but I don't believe I've ever actually sat down an watched a full episode of the show.
Didn't she have a friend/sidekick who was like some kind a yellowish girl dog thing?
No, since hardly anyone's been reading it, and because I no longer have any interest in continuing the story otherwise.
It would be cool, there could even be an intiment little moment there for Big Bird since he was especially close to Mr. Looper... but again, thinking about how this would play...
Well, you have to think -- HOW would they end up back in 1969? The only logical explanation would be a time machine... and who would have a time machine? POSSIBLY Dr. Nobel Price.
And I didn't even think about that parallel until you pointed it out... and yes, the machine did work, inspite...
Aw man, this is so sad to hear, I really enjoy Lena Horne's performances.
I got a kick out of that episode of Sanford and Son where Fred snuck into her dressing room at NBC, and when she catches him, he makes up this story that Lamont thinks of her as another mother because her singing...
I'm not actually trying to be a part of the clique, I'm just expressing how it seems like if you're NOT a part of the clique, your stories tend to be unsuccessful.
I get what you're saying, but comments/reviews are important too, because that's how you really know how your story's doing when...
It would seem that not ALL videos have been effected by the new video players, which is okay I guess...
One thing I don't understand is the new button on both the old and the new players that seems to resemble a fast-foward symbol - anytime you click it, it doesn't do anything, so I don't see...
Gee, the pic I did for the story's been getting lots of comments and favorites on deviantART... so what's so bad about the actual fic that nobody's reading it? Oh yeah, I forgot... I ain't part of the fanfic clique here, and if you're not a part of the clique, your work goes un-noticed.
Yeah, I DID read about a successful internet hook-up/relationship in a Chicken Soup for Love book... but again, they seem mostly unconventional, disasterous, and often times end in flames.
Yet again, I hypocritically fell in love with an internet friend, who was already in a REAL...
I knew Jim dubbed the baker's voice, but I didn't know the name of the person who performed the baker; interesting to know that he was, of all people, a stuntman... that makes so much sense, lol.
Thanks for sharing that info Kath!
Dr. Phil just shaved off his mustache for the first time in forty years!
Without it, he kind of looks like Harry Smith without the glasses.
It's been in the 80s the past several days, but now it's in the 90s today, and I've been miserable! I could use some kind of buckets under my arms or something...
At least there's Sunday to look forward to, it's supposedly going to cool down into the 60s then... but then again, knowing our...
Yeah, they know what causes that now! :p
Sorry, more un-necessary M*A*S*H references.
Congrats Sara! Do you know if it'll be a boy or a girl? What are the name possibilities?
That ain't really the case Drtooth.
Again, having experiences with PBS, it's lack of funding for children's programming in general (not just SST, but the likes of Arthur, Barney, Clifford, etc), because of all these uber-right-winged overzealous Christian and homeschool groups rallying to...
