Oh brother... did I tell you?
So, right now, we're going through a LITTLE bit of relief (not today, it got hot again today, unfortunately), mid-80s isn't exactly a cool down, but after weeks on in of temps in the 90s, 100s, reaching 110, we'll take it... so, now that we're going through tis...
It's bizarre, because in an old retromercial I found on an old tape that was a trailer for Home Alone in 1991, the ad started with this: "Fads come and go... hula-hoops... pet rocks... 3D... pet turtles..." Thats just that... 3D is a fad that comes and goes... in a sense, it itself is a...
Newsie has a point about dwelling on things that you think should be wrong, then it slipping into your subconscience... that happens to me quite frequently for the past couple of years or so.
Probably because the bad dreams may have more of an impact on you than good ones do... kind of like when things happen in your life, the bad experiences are etched in your mind forever, wheras the good stuff tends to fleet your memories overtime.
I still get recommendations (even though I don't use them), but scarily enough, half the time, the recommendations are "Because you watched" videos that I watched MONTHS ago, and had since then cleared and cleaned out my viewing history.
But aside from that, is anyone else having this strange...
Actually, you atre not alone my friend, I too have had dreams that have me waking up and asking myself how could I dream something like that... luckily, however, those dreams seem rather very few and quite far between... in fact, I really can't remember when's the last time I've had such a...
Jeez, boi...
Last night was one of those nights where I'd wake up every little while, and each timne I fell back asleep, the dreams kept getting weirder and weirder, and made litler and littler sense... and once I woke up for the morning, I didn't remember a single one of them, lol.
Yeah, I wonder who died and made James Cameron God.
Nothing will ever be completely gone. In addition to records, and the new Winnie the Pooh movie, there's all kinds of campaigns and groups rallying to bring back analog transmissions, and groups to keep local community/public access television...
I'll agree it may be easier with digital technology, but the overall quality isn't as superior: a lot of it is that whole newer-is-better hype, but it takes a keen eye to see the real difference. You look at something that was shot on 35mm (properly mastered and such), and something that's "HD"...
I wouldn't bank on that... it's clear that the 2010s is going to be the decade of comebacks... after all, records have made a comeback... hopefully things like 35mm film can as well.
Well, YouTube's obviouisly done SOMETHING with our subscriptions for us to have this uber-annoying glitch where almost on a daily basis, EVERY SINGLE VIDEO that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR SUBSCRIPTIONS has recently uploaded floods your homepage, even if you've already watched them time and time...
You missed the point. Not everybody who's in television, or got into television went to school to learn how to produce television shows... and if they were able to go that route, why can't I? Besides, like I said, I learn by doing.
Plus, newer isn't always better, and I don't intend on making...
It's a shame Shelley didn't last too awfully long on the show... late 80s/early 90s apparently. I know there have been some fans who felt he had a lot more potential than he was given credit for; there are some good moments of him on YouTube, including him practicing running a turtle marathon...
Actually, that was another point I forgot to mention: one of my older brothers, who's now a practicing surgeon (with TWO practices, actually), is STILL paying off debts and student loans, and he's in his 30s.
