Down where I live, it's mostly ethnic groups that pronounce it otherwise, which is why I said Doug is so far the only white guy I know of who pronounces it that way, lol.
In re-watching some older episodes, I actually overlooked a review that had one really redundant, yet amusing bit...
DOUG...
Okay, apparently I just learned some more info regarding that whole tax fraud thing going on with Cinar... apparently a lot of the writers on the show in the beginning were "foreigners" being passed on as Canadian citizens... and there's some speculation former head writer Joe Fallon was among...
Another thing I find interesting is that Doug seems to be the only white guy that I know of who actually pronounces the word "aunt" the way it's spelled... or maybe it's a regional thing, I dunno, do most people in the north and midwest pronounce it that way?
An original episode of the Dutch co-production Sesamstraat from 1976 (their first season) has recently been posted on YT... someone is speculating it's the first episode of the series, but nobody has been able to confirm it... either way, it's interesting to look at...
It's just really clear that Hollywood is short of ideas that all they're doing now anymore are cheapquels and remakes... I mean just look at the movies in the past few years, and the movies that are planned to be released in the next couple of years, look at the amount of pictures that are...
Isn't that basically what just about all technology advances and such are these days? I mean do we really want or need to replace our perfectly working TVs with the 3D TVs, especially considering not too many people even like 3D anyway?
I see now that Vivendi has the distribution rights to the show since the demise of Sony Wonder that they're now putting out re-releases of previous seasons, in cheap little single-disc packages... and IMO, Vivendi is one of the worst offenders for the new "greener" DVD cases: less plastic means...
No, I think you're just a little too overly sensitive about almost everything that's said here that you find to be politically incorrect, this isn't about the murder of Jews, this isn't about the Holocaust, this is a comparison of fascism, as Google and its entities (including YouTube) don't do...
I actually haven't really seen Anatasia, but I actually wasn't aware it too was a Bluth movie... now it kind of makes sense... as for Thumbellina, I've only seen it once maybe twice, and yeah, it wasn't one of his best (I think the Carol Channing mouse could probably have had a movie all on her...
Yeah I know, it's the same story with the re-release of the Valentine DVD containing the infamous "holy grail" "Sploosh" episode, of which someone sent me the mp4 or, even though the quality is poor, it's watchable and free and I don't have to waste another $15 or so to re-buy episodes I already...
Yeah, I think it's only North American that observes extended DST, because apparently Bush was sitting around the Oval Office, playing with his marbles, thinking of other ways he could ruin the country, and decided he would mess with everybody's heads by extending DST, and claim it'll help...
Presently in East TN: $3.69 for low-grade/regular unleaded. Earlier in the year, however, it DID get below $3.00 again, but only for a very short time.
So did I, but what I'm saying is, the irony is that even though he only reviews "bad" movies, a majority of what he has reviewed are movies that I actually did like and thought were good movies, which is why there are a number of movies I think would be perfect for a Nostalgia Critic review...
Funny thing is, it seems like a majority of what he reviews that are considered 'bad" have been movies and such that I really like and enjoy, so there's potential he could review some other popular movies that are unusual, like I've been dying for him to review Pee-wee's Big Adventure... the...
Admittedly, as much as I love Doug, the reviews have seemed somewhat tired lately... they haven't quite as funny as they usually are or could be, but the unfortunate thing is eventually, the well does dry up and such.
Now that I've been able to catch up on some of what I've been missing on my old computer, I notice lately Doug's been doing a lot more reviews just as himself rather than as his Nostalgia Critic alter ego... maybe I've still missed something, is he simply trying to do something new/different...
*In response to someone mentioning Fly Me to the Moon in the Lorax thread*
See, there's the reason right there why a fourth Chipmunk movie where they go into space shouldn't happen, because Fly Me to the Moon pretty much already covered it... I mean really, you got the ring-leader who acts on...
