Caroll Spinney Interview: Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird and Me

IIRC, he did all but maybe two seasons of the show, then most (if not all) of his characters were taken over by Noel MacNeal. Ah, I didn't think about him, you may be right.

Statler and Waldorf on "The Soup" March 21

I saw this quite by accident actually... still, those two never cease to make me laugh, they never get old (pun intended)! :boo:

    Judging Your Own Creativity

Apparently, it's just as much of a nightmare to film in-sequence as is it to film out of sequence, but for different reasons... such as apparently it's more expensive to film in-sequence because of the constant need to move elements of the sets around to reposition the camera and such. My...

    Judging Your Own Creativity

That's kind of the way they did Stalag 17... and that was also one of the very few movies where they filmed in-sequence.

Question about the release of "The Lorax" in March 2012

There is no such thing as political correctness in movies and TV, it's all just a myth... I mean if all that were true, there wouldn't be half of what's in this stuff today, like the excessive language, graphic violence, overtly sexual behavior, and otherwise questionable content... I mean how...

Better link: http://www.sesamestudios.org/martians/MartiansHome.html Link to videos: http://www.sesamestudios.org/martians/MartiansVideoZipLook.html Alls I can say this basically looks like another example of the Anime Muppets they've been supplying us with for the past few years or so, but...

    The Chipmunks

Now THAT I would see! I mean the situations you mentioned and everything sound more true to the original cartoon, without necessarily recycling plots they already used. Speaking of Ian/Harry, I'm really disappointed that the greatest Chipmunk fan artist there is has actually gotten...

    Questionably Educational SST Skits

I'm pretty sure that object of that one was to teach kids about puberty. I could be wrong. What did I get from it? Katy Perry has a mousy speaking voice, despite having quite a big singing voice.

    Judging Your Own Creativity

I actually know what that's like, I did cartooning almost nonstop from like 1999 to 2006 or so, and after that, I had absolutely had it, I was burned out, and I couldn't take it anymore (plus the fact that I was into a depression at that time didn't help either), so I called it quits, ceased...

Caroll Spinney Interview: Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird and Me

I learned a few things I wasn't aware of, like the whole issue with Caroll not getting any royalties and such from albums and records, but they did say that the record industry is just about the sleaziest part of the entertainment world... then again, when you think about it, the music industry...

    Judging Your Own Creativity

I was going to post this in the "Am I the Only One Thread", but I got to thinking that this really deserves to be it's own topic, considering MC is comprised of several, several creative, imaginative, and talented individuals who I'm sure would like to discuss in more detail such matters. And...

    Opinions Obliterated?

I sure do like how you can't even make a simple statement around here anymore without someone biting your head off over being "pessimistic".

The "It's A Great Time To Be A Muppet Fan" Thread - No Pessimism Allowed!

Okay, well yeah, there's nothing good to warrant a viewing from me on either of those networks, so yeah, okay. Still looking forward to the release anyshoe.

    The ant and the aardvark

There's apparently now an updated version of the Ant and the Aardvark playing on Boomerang I think (I wouldn't know, Comfinicast refuses to offer Boomerang): the Aardvark is apparently still has his previous slightly exaggerated New York Jew mannerisms, but the Ant is now apparently more "urban"...
