I just generalize the term with the respective gender in regards to whatever it is they're a fan of... like us for example, I'd be a Muppet Fanboy, and you'd be a Muppet Fangirl.
Something about the overall animation style: the character designs, the coloring, etc, reminds of this really great webcomic that surfaced on the web a few months ago, but for some unknown reason, the author/creator pulled the plug and deleted the entire archive and everything, which is a shame...
It's cool to see so many of Jerry's colleagues sitting in on his recording sessions as well: I had thought I saw Frank Biondo in the first video, and it turns out it was sitting next to Caroll Spinney as well... and I'm pretty sure that's Roscoe Orman sitting in the back there too.
But these...
I miscalculated.
It's not $250 per episode, it's $350 per hour's worth of footage, which would be about maybe two and a half episodes per hour (assuming that the episodes were less than twenty-five minutes without commercials, since most half-hour shows by then were around 23 or 24 minutes)...
Funnily enough, it seems like those who are traditionally glove puppets somehow look disproportionate when shown full-bodied as opposed to the rod puppets... Telly and Rosita are other examples... oh, and Lulu: I remember from that Biography special they showed Stephanie D'Abruzzo giving a...
Interesting points...
I think that was something of a tease, IIRC... yeah, we see him lounging in his can, but it's more like his feet hanging over the rim of the trashcan, which is probably why we can't remember if he wore pants or not... probably not.
Well again, in the Season Three premiere...
It's the whole "Kid should know about sex" thing that bothers me to a degree... I mean yeah, it's true, they have sex ed in school now (when I was in middle school, not sure about today, everything about school seemed to change once I graduated), but I think teaching the facts of life to kids at...
I just got to thinking... has Oscar EVER been depicted, in any shape or form, in full body, out of his trashcan?
I know when those knickerbocker plushes came out in the 80s, Oscar wasn't in his trashcan, but rather, wearing a golden sweatshirt with his name in red on the front, but other than...
Well, Miley Cyrus has been on quite the winning streak lately, piercing her nose, forgetting her pants, and now seemingly encouraging under-aged sex:

I was checking in on the updates, and according to Jim (Martin), they were able to surpass their $2,000 goal, and raised roughly $3,500.
So, to do the math (which I know I suck at, but I'm curious), he said it cost about $250 just to digitally convert and store one half-hour episode from the...
I'm pretty sure I already mentioned this in another thread, but no.
The new Cartoon Planet sucks eggs. It's very generic and has no personality to it whatsoever; the original CP had much more to it, it was almost like a slightly kid-friendlier Saturday Morning-esque version of Space Ghost...
There seems to be a bit of misinformation, because both MC and ABC are reporting that the Classic Muppets will be appearing tonight, TV Guide and Comcast are reporting it's the SST Muppets that will be appearing... I doubt both will be appearing, but whatevs.
Over the years, I've noticed more and more fictional characters out there that basically seem like clones of other fictional characters... and no, I'm not just talking about the age-old "Jeanette of The Chipettes and Irma from TMNT are long-lost twins" example, but here are some others I've...
No, like they weren't familiar with him, but still, it seems odd that anybody, even in my age bracket, wouldn't be somewhat familiar with him. Not like how nobody is familiar with that jazz girl (I think her name's Esperanda or something) who everybody says stole the Grammy from Justin Bieber a...
