Haha, it was awesome to see Big Bird and hear those old classic laugh track laughs from the old days together in one thing!
Isn't this where Caroll got himself in trouble with Oscar for teasing Richard Dawson? He mentions an the incident in his book being on Dinah Shore, but I noticed Dawson...
And THAT is one of the main problems with the Republican party: most, if not all of them, have been wealthy and rich their entire lives... they have NO idea just what a struggle it is for people in the middle class to literally try to survive, especially during recessions and economic downturns...
Wow... I'm guessing what I have on tape was a "edited/cut for time" version, because there's a few moments and scenes throughout what Sarge posted that I don't remember ever seeing before.
Here's another article regarding the new series: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118060346?refCatId=14
So based on the information they've given us, I assume that this "52 11-minute episodes" mean we're going to get 26 half-hour episodes to start off this series?
I really don't understand...
You know, as far as the comparisons go, we ALL know that axing PBS wouldn't even help the economy anyway, BUT, there are SOME Romney supporters out there who claim they understand his motive: by eliminating not only PBS, but other similar organizations, those small things will continue to adds...
We were talking about that a few pages ago: we're hoping that she WON'T be on SST.
Y'know, I've seen my share of a few dislikable first ladies over the years, but she's probably the most smug of them all.
I've got the original FW on tape somewhere... I KNOW I have to have it somewhere, because I believe it's also on one of my old Classic SST tapes...
It's a pretty good and clever little twist on the classic Frankenstein story, and it features a VERY young, clean-shaven, almost unrecognizable...
Isn't that kind of like how Todd is always saying white people and alcohol don't mix? :p
But anyway, I HAVE to ask this: is anybody besides me reminded of Greg Proops anytime Billy Kimball is on? Both are bespectacled, both are always dressed up in suits, both are kind of deadpan snarkers, and...
Oh, I see what's going on here...
Yeah, they're playing the old, classic shows alright... BUT, they're NOT playing FULL EPISODES, rather, they're just playing individual segments and entries from the series in like little 15-minute slots throughout the afternoon.
Fail.
I just found out there's apparently an episode/volume in the series called "World's Dumbest Holidays"... I have GOT to see that one... I wonder if they discuss any of these obscure and unusual holidays that people actually celebrate, like Talk Like a Pirate Day, or Cheap Plastic Frog Day... or I...
Yes, I remember it.
I didn't like it, but I remember it.
But yeah, that's a pretty pathetic excuse for a lawsuit. I mean, how many of us, as kids, have submitted ideas to our favorite cartoons growing up, but they were never used, because... well, we're kids... and they don't except such...
Actually, something I've been wondering has come to my mind...
For this new animated series, would there be any attempt to bring back Miss Miller, or will she continue to be excluded? I can see why shouldn't really fit in in the movies' universe, but it seems like she's give or take as far as...
Has anyone seen the Frankenweenie remake? How does it compare to the original? Based on the previews and trailers, it almost looks a far more complex production with a lot more secondary characters making up the cast.
I'd take a new series over another one of those movies, though I still say it'd be nice if they could also focus on the actual musical aspect on the franchise as well, and maybe cut a few new albums and such.
I'm going to try to be open-minded about it.
Granted, even those Universal movies weren't as good as the 80s series, but compared to the recent movies, they're a lot more tolerable.
If anything, I hope they manage to crank out a few decent Jeanette episodes.
