Unfortunately, vans are the only things we drive in my family... we're a family of short people, so a van gives us more height to be able to see the road, and actually see where it is we're going.
I'd rather have a jeep though: less car to worry about, yet, still gives me height.
Really? I thought it was created by the same people who created Leave it to Beaver (Joe Connelly & Bob Mosher). On an interesting note, apparently the Damon Wayans movie Major Payne was "based on an idea" by Connelly & Mosher... I'm TRYING so hard to picture Major Payne as a watered-down, weekly...
No, I'm complaining about that's all that's on TV today is nothing but hate ads, and I'm also complaining in general about how no other president has gotten nearly as much hate as Obama has when there have been plenty of presidents worse than him, i.e. George W. Bush.
GAH!
Practically every single commercial on television today are desperately desperate anti-Obama ads: "People, whatever you do, do NOT vote for Barack Obama!", "I voted for Obama last election, but THIS election, I'm voting for MITT ROMNEY!", "Mr. President, you didn't do anything to help my...
Me-TV is a relatively new (I say relatively because it's been around for quite some time, yet, my cable provider JUST NOW started to offer it) cable and/or satellite channel, basically, it's what TV Land USED to be: all classics, all the time.
I haven't seen Car 54, Where Are You? yet myself...
That was pretty much my point: no, his vision of Big Bird isn't the same Big Bird we know and love today, but still, Jim had pretty much figured out how he thought he wanted Big Bird to turn out: he wanted Big Bird to be sort of a village idiot, big and dopey, with that deep, silly-sounding...
Another thing to remember too, is that Jim pretty much gave everybody who worked for him a great deal of their own creative control: he may have had a vision for something, but he let others take that vision, and turn them into something special. In fact, so many of the characters we know and...
Yes, as far as the new Muppet characters are concerned, I did very much like them.
I like how, while incredibly cheesy, easily Goggles managed to break Blotch of his bullying ways, and the two of them became really good friends, since Goggles pretty much saved his life kind of... it makes a...
Now see? If people are going to bump a really old thread, at least do so with the intentions of actually adding some actual input into the conversation that would make the thread worth discussion again. Thank you minor muppetz, your post in this thread was very refreshing.
Hey, yeah. As far as talking goes, Bobby seems to have at least one or two lines in the movies he appeared in, but as far as the Ernest TV series goes, and the original Chuck and Bobby commercials, yeah, he never spoke in those.
Script and production design aside, I do have to agree with you on the human performances... Dr. Mr. Krassman was a very large ham throughout, Mary was kind of bland and didn't have just a whole lot of charisma... Wilson the pet store owner was just about the best human character in the movie...
You lucky pup, lol. It's a little touching hearing Caroll's anecdotes about people meeting him, and how awkward he finds it that people come up to him like, "Uh... ar-ar-are you C-C-C-C-Caroll Sp-Sp-Spinney?", because he was more accustomed to being on the other end of the spectrum when he met...
I can see what you mean, and to be perfectly honest with you, that's one of the reasons why I did like it... KSY came out during a time when I was still a kid, a kid who always had his head in the clouds, a lover, a dreamer, and you (well, okay, maybe not the last one, because how can I be you...
Well, distribution and ownership are two different things (though I know in a lot of case, the distributors like to think that they own the content, *cough*Lionsgate*cough*WarnerBros*cough*).
