My rant? I can't watch ANYTHING on TBS anymore without having a bazillion, "Dude! We play Big Bang Theory like a BUNCH a week here on TBS!!!" promos shoved in my face during the commercial breaks.
In addition to movies and guest appearances and such, he was in like a buttload of commercials, and he ended up being the host of practically every single event or award show for a while there.
Lol, it's like how Lindsay Lohan is SHOCKED that her Liz and Dick movie has gotten NOTHING but negative reviews... that thing started getting negative reviews before it even came out, she looked NOTHING like Liz Taylor, nor did she even try to ACT like her.
And again, Lindsay is SHOCKED by all...
Before anybody says anything... see? Not my words. This is what everybody has been saying.
At any rate, yes, Birkenfield's involvement with the Muppets dates way, way, WAAAAAY back (The Muppet Valentine's Show is the earliest I can think of off the top of my head); I've notice hers and Jim's...
But he didn't. Remember, when the first accuser came forward, Kevin immediately took a leave of absense from the show, and then once the second accuser came forward (and prompted the first to recant his recant), then he resigned permanently.
I haven't heard too many false comments of Oscar being monster... but I WAS curious as a kid as to why Oscar was included in the chorus line of monsters in the original version of "C is for Cookie".
Presently, it appears I'm slightly more successful/popular on YouTube right now than Sid & Marty Krofft... not sure if that's a good thing, though... :smirk:
I TRIED to join in once, but you guys moved way too fast, it was impossible to keep up.
Yeah. That'll work like a charm.
Based on experience, once you allow a new group of people into an RP, it's going to lose focus quick, fast, and in a hurry; newbies tend to like to derail the plot so they...
As soon as you said Fox News, I knew this would be a whole lot of bullcrap.
Fox News has hated SST for YEARS, all this "radical left-wing agenda to brainwash our nation's children".
Automatically dismissed.
Which is why, in so many cases (this not being one of them, mind you), it's better to simply replace a character altogether, as opposed to trying to recast the character with a different actor or performer: that one actor is the one who really breathed life and soul into the character, is if...
I'm just parroting what others have been saying throughout the year: that there's been too much whining about 2012 being a sucky year, all because of excessive number of celebrity deaths, mr3urious drew attention to it some time back. MC has a habit of overracting to unpleasant news, or...
Well, there's been a number of cases where men have married women, and have had children, long before they actually realize they are gay; Kevin has flat-out admitted he's gay when this scandal broke out, so I'm assuming he was one of those men who didn't realize he was gay until later in life...
The subject line from an e-mail that was sent to the spam folder in my inbox (since Yahoo!'s Spam Guard doesn't work anymore due to their laziness and neglect): "Is this a miracle, or spam?"
Uh, is that a trick question?
Seriously? I need to keep an eye out for that.
I mean really, she sits there the whole time, with her eyes half-closed, this glazed look on her face, slow yet almost emphatic speech... I mean, unless that's actually her schtick (which I'm not sure it is, because I think I've seen her in a...
I really honestly can't think of any other talking bugs things from around the same time.
I know a number of years later, there was an off-brand CGI movie about ants, I forget what it was called, Ant Bully or something like that, that had "ripoff" written all over it.
Well, I think they can't exactly make carbon copies of the characters and settings and such, otherwise, they probably would end up being sued for copyright infringement... y'know, kinda like Larry King's old set was famous for the different colored dots on the wall, yet SNL's parodies had just...
