Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
A while back, we were discussing that Cartoon Network seemingly got the hint that people DON'T want to watch live action stuff on CARTOON Network, and that they were finally realizing that fact.
Well, we shoulda figured THAT realization wouldn't last long, 'cause what they're coming out with...
There are a few things that are done, depending on which character has more dialogue/action:
If Big Bird has more meat in the scene, then Caroll will perform him, while someone, usually Jim Martin, will perform Oscar; but if Oscar has more to do in the scene, then Caroll will perform him...
We actually have a separate T*K*O Wiki: http://3976.wetpaint.com you can use that as reference for an episode list/guide.
Resist myself, I could not. I done went ahead and made up a list of tropes I think applies to the series, feel free to add any any body.
· Absentee Actor: MrsPepper and...
It seems like MCers have difficulty letting something go like this... it's only been within the last couple of months or so people have FINALLY stopped talking about the whole Chick-fil-A controversy, and that started back in the summer.
I think I may compile a list of tropes that apply to TKO... I already know of a good one that fits well for the series:
AscendedFanBoy: Applies to Prawnie. ;)
Here's the problem:
1. Hollywood itself is OUT of new ideas, mainly because all the successful ideas have already been used up, hence why most movies you see nowadays are either rehashes of previously successful pictures, or adaptations of TV shows, books, et al.
2. The people who actually DO...
I don't know if the rest of you have noticed like I have that Julio has been MIA from MC for quite some time now; well, I recently heard from him again, and said I could pass along the word from him that he's doing okay right now, he went through a troubling period with a girl who was slowly...
I wasn't talking about new seasons, I said when most people try going through the old series, they seem to stop at around Season Three, and don't finish the rest.
I know some people have been asking/requesting that a new AfterSeries incarnation of the series be made; I talked with MrsPepper...
Well, lots of old people are like that, stubborn old mules, I'm sure Alzheimer's wasn't even on the writers' minds at that time.
What episode was that? I don't remember seeing that.
Well, the already gave him Alzheimer's.
Again, my own grandfather died after suffering from a slow and steady decline due to Alzheimer's, but again, it just seemed like giving Grandpa Dave Alzheimer's seemed like such a cop out, because he was really the least expanded upon character on the show.
I like how every so often, there's renewed interest in T*K*O, yet nobody can seem to bring themselves to finish going through the series; it's a pity, because Season Three was the best, IMO, but nobody seems to make it that far.
Every time I see that pic from The Great Santa Claus Switch on the forum's MC Radio widget, I keep thinking I'm seeing Ernie's, because those elves look like Ernie.
