The guy who lived in Fozzie's finger

Reply I don't know. Let's use this comparison. Casey Kasem stopped performing the voice Shaggy on Scooby-Doo for the direct-to-video movies, but he returned to do the voice on the new series. (Sorry, Punk, I know you don't like the show, but I thought I'd use this as an example.) So Frank...

    Question about Muppets Take Manhattan

Reply Yeah. That's food for thought. It also would have been interesting to see a Baby Swedish Chef or a Baby Lew Zealand. Maybe even a Baby Sam the Eagle.

    Favorite Statler & Waldorf Quotes

Reply That was originally from the Bob Hope episode. I was sort of shocked that they didn't use the original opening credits for the Vincent Price episode. I didn't think Time Life cut anything out. Oh, well. Seeing a first season episode without it's original opening credits is better...

    Favorite Statler & Waldorf Quotes

Reply I know we've had a thread like this before, but that's okay. I've thought of more S & W quotes from last time. By the way, Extell. Were you referring to the opening from the Harry Belafonte episode? Because they have been seen in that episode even after they say that. Just thought...

    Question about Muppets Take Manhattan

Reply Yeah. Me too. The new characters must have appeared at the time I stopped watching the show. I wonder why they didn't have the Electric Mayhem there originally (well, except for Animal). I guess they considered how hip and groovy those characters were on TMS and it was hard to...

    Question about Muppets Take Manhattan

Reply I was thinking the same thing. At the time Muppet Babies was made, people knew who Janice was, but no one knew Scooter had a sister. I didn't see that episode of "Muppet Babies" where Janice appeared. Was she still sort of a valley girl in that?

What is the state of the muppet performers?

Reply So, that's good. So we will still have Jerry in later productions? That's good. He's one of the few original Muppateers we have left. Well, along with Dave Goelz and Steve Whitemire.

Muppet Spreadsheet, and people look at me funny now...

Thanks. Thanks. I've got it now.

    "Cliff's Nightmare" on TBS

Reply I know just how you feel, Jane. At least you saw more of that episode than I did. Lol.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds?

Reply O.K., let's see if I got this right. What would I have seen if I was around to watch the show's first season: A different actor playing Gordon A weird looking Big Bird with more of a dopey voice An orange Oscar the Grouch A long-haired Luis (or did he come later?) A...

Poor Rizzo the Rat gets no attenion?

Rizzo the Rat Boy, I was waiting for a Rizzo thread. I like the character. It's interesting how he went from a silent background character on "The Muppet Show," then had quite a big part on "The Muppets Take Manhattan" and became Gonzo's best friend in later years. Heck, that rat could...

Muppet Spreadsheet, and people look at me funny now...

Reply How did you get it, Frogboy? Whenever I try I get that "Page is not available" message.

The guy who lived in Fozzie's finger

Reply I don't know about that, but it was definately Frank who did Fozzie's voice in MTI. I don't think the way the writers made Fozzie have to do with his retirement. I don't know for sure. I'm just guessing.

What is the state of the muppet performers?

Reply No, you're not the only one, Tommie. I didn't know Jerry was ill either. I just found that out now. I hope he'll be back. A lot of his characters would be hard to replace.

The One Thing Forgetful Jones Does Remember

Reply Could you explain that in more detail, Jeff? What did Forgetful remember about good old Mr. Hooper?

    Big Bird's Voice

Oh, I get it. "Journey to Ernie" shows classic Bert and Ernie skits from earlier on the show. I didn't think they played those anymore. You people probably think I'm a complete idiot for just figuring that out now. Lol. I should watch the show more often. Besides it would be good to hear...

This Thread is Brought to you by the Letter J!

Reply I definately remember the one with Biff. I believe that was one of his few appearances without Sully.

Why did they cancel Muppets Tonight so quickly?

Reply So that explains the opening number that he thought up for the Sandy Duncan episode. Lol.
