That was today? I'm glad I read these messages. I don't get the show until 7:30 in the evening, so I'll have to tape that, at least the last ten minutes of the show.
I just heard that song on Muppet Central Radio. They said it was by Miss Piggy and the pigs, but I didn't hear Miss Piggy. Was that from a first season episode where Richard was performing Miss Piggy. I thought I heard his Miss Piggy voice, but I wasn't sure. If it was from a first season...
I'll have to look at that again. The tape with the Linda Carter episode was the last one I got, but I didn't notice that Gonzo looked different in the opening.
Actually, I think anybody can perform Camilla since all she does is cluck, but I see what your saying. If they're going to take Statler away from Jerry, he should bring back his original characters. I'd really like to see more of :sing: . Eric as Dr. Teeth? Hmmm. That's food for thought...
Thanks for that info, Anathena and Gorgon. The only trouble is now I won't be surprised when I see them. By the way, I think Gonzo blowing a balloon out of his horn was also used in the Rudolf Nuryev episode.
I have to agree what Wiggy said except for a few things. If Frank comes back for the new show, he should stick with Piggy, Fozzie and Animal, since they are his characters. Bean Bunny still belongs with Steve. But if Frank isn't involved, I'd definately want Eric performing Piggy and Fozzie...
Don't worry about it. I'll find out in a few months.
In fact, I'll withdraw the question. I'll take it back right now.

What? Backwards spelling is funny when they do...
I see. I'm just surprised that a lot of people here haven't seen all the season 1 openings on the Timelife videos. I'll just have to wait until I get the other two to find out.
I didn't see that one. I wish I would have taped it.
By the way, thanks for that info on Piggy, Aaron. I was worried she wasn't going to make it on the show this season.
Re: Re: Alex,
Yeah, and in the Racquel Welsh episode it has a shot of Beauregard pulling a string and getting hit on the head with a bag of flour.
Incedentally, still nobody answered my question about the alternate first season openings on the Timelife videos. *sigh* I guess I'll just...
Re: Re: Alex,
He pulled a face at the beginning of the Alice Cooper episode too. Just thought I'd bring that up.
By the way, Scarecrow, I've seen the original first season opening at your site. That was really cool. The theme song was the same, but the opening looked nothing like we...
Thanks for recommending that site. I've noticed Rowlf's voice was lower, but not too bad. Overall, that "Gone Fishin' video is very good. I'll have to watch more of it.
*sigh*
I wish somebody would respond to this post. Right now, my only source of finding out about the first season openings is at the 'guides' page on this website. Also, it's not just the first season. I'd like to know what Waldorf and Statler's comments were at the beginning of each...
