That doesn't mean that Lips couldn't have played a different instrument for once. Zoot played the tambourine in the closing number. Lips is the only member of the band who has only played one instrument.

I saw an amazon link for the graphic novel, which will be titled Meet the Muppets. According to that amazon page, it'll be released in both paperback and hardcover. Of course, what I wonder is whether the various one-shots will be collected into such graphic novels.

Probably the same way and reason that Kermit and the others got captured. We don't really know why the pigs wanted to take over the show, aside from probably wanting to be spotlighted more.
