I had mentioned this possibility earlier. However, I have a feeling that all of the guest stars pictured will be on there. It'd be stupid to include guests on the cover who won't be on the set (just as stupid as putting Elmo on the packaging for Follow That Bird despite his small screen time...
Many fans see the Muppets as being like a close family. The writer of Muppet Robin Hood mentioned this in his Tough Pigs interview, when discussing the difficulty of casting Muppets as villians. Jim Lewis also kind of commented on this in the Ask Jim Lewis thread, when asked about Fleet...
Is Nana supposed to be played by Camilla, or just a random chicken? They all look the same.
Also, a question for Grace or Amy: Do comic book writers and artists get residuals for their work?
I was thinking about this, too. I thought Prairie Dawn was made as a Sesame Street beanbag toy in 1998, but then I looked at the Muppet Wiki page for Sesame Street Beans, and there was no Prairie Dawn, and she was a main character by then. And during the 1970s there were many toys made of Lefty...
Has anybody seen the alternate cover, which is posted at Muppet Wiki (referred to as the "C" cover... It doens't say where it's exclusive to)? In the background of that cover are toys resembling Muppet characters, including Bert and Ernie. I guess Disney missed that; Roger Langridge has said...
I like that article on The Jim Henson Hour, and I disagree about many of the shows original characters being too "one-note". Underdeveloped, maybe, but I don't see Digit, Leon, or Vicki as one-joke (though the Muppet Wiki articles on Vicki and Leon are a bit short). Waldo may be a bit one-note...
I'm not really sure whether this thread inspired it or if it's just a coincidence, but The Muppet Mindset has an article about Prairie Dawn: http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2009/09/weekly-muppet-wednesdays-prairie-dawn.html
Muppet Wiki claims that Sam the Eagle will play Mr. Darling. Does anybody know what this source was? The review only mentions that Sam takes over as the narrarator, it would make more sense for Gonzo to play Mr. Darling since most versions of Peter Pan have the father and Captain Hook played by...
Youtube actually has a promo for the book. It can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhijK8Fo5fg
It's interesting. It mentions that the bonus DVD includes a clip montage in addition to the first episode. I wonder if it's really a clip montage or if it's several full bonus clips...
If Disney is really trying to make next year the "year of the Muppets" then it would be really great if more classic Muppet programs were shown on Disney's channels. Some fans have speculated that Disney hasn't been broadcasting The Muppet Show reruns becasue they might compete with DVD sales...
Does anybody have any idea when Prairie Dawn became a major character? It seems like she was a lot more minor during the first 20-something seasons. Seems like she was just barely more major than Betty Lou was on the show. This could be due to the fact that Fran Brill seemed to work on the show...

I don't really consider those mini-series. In my opinion, a mini-series is a small series of specials that continue into each other. The Super Grover and Monsterpiece Theater segments were all self-contained stories (but then again, so were The American Revolution sketches).
Comicbookresources now has previews for both Peg-Leg Wilson #3 and Muppet Peter Pan. Both are good so far, though with Peg-Leg Wilson #3 there are no signs of obscure characters (just major and original characters), though I'm sure they'll appear.
I saw a clip on the site called "Doc Meets Mean Manny". It was kind of interesting... It's very much like the Sinister Sam and Bad Bart sketches, taking place at a saloon, and several people being afraid of the arrival of a mean person... Though in this one the fear isn't played up as much. The...
Yeah, when Sesame Workshop first uploaded this clip on Youtube (Sesame Workshop has put a number of clips on Youtube and/ or Hulu weeks/ months before putting them on sesamestreet.org) I thought it looked like something was cut at one point where the scene cut from a wide shot to a close-up...
