Mando as the new Hiroshi. That makes sense, because in a way Chris is sort of like the new David.
And I think he may have been Big Bird in this episode as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but unless Carroll had a cold when the street scene was filmed, his "There she is!" line did sound very...
Wow! No comments here so far. I thought that appearance was good, especially the 1993 flashback. I guess people are just more pre-occupied with watching the new episodes this season.
Good thoughts, Tooth. I think he may mainly be an understudy like Matt Vogel is for Carroll Spinney or Eric is for Frank (well, I guess Eric is more than an understudy since he performs Frank's characters more often than not, but you know what I mean.) I felt a little better about this when I...
I thought the voice sounded different. I didn't want to say anything because I know we were moving away from the issue on AGT a few years back. But now that it's out in the open, I wonder about that. Was it John Tartiagola or Artie Esposito or someone else entirely performing him? Do we know...
I see it's too late to vote now and like I said in my last post. It is less confusing to have them separate and easier not to see spoilers on any eps you may have missed, but from reading the last posts here it seems like I'm outvoted. But oh well, whatever everyone else wants is fine with me.
So now we have different threads for each ep. That's a good idea. It's less confusing that way. Sometimes I catch spoilers for episodes I haven't seen. I wasn't aware until now that the half-hour eps were basically repeats of episodes that already aired. I thought they'd air two new...
Interesting that Bert and Ernie get a street scene so early in the season. Though I wouldn't expect Bert to be the type of person who'd need training wheels since he is supposed to represent an adult. Though they did the same storyline with Abby a few years back, but we'll see what happens.
Well, the camp episodes have been up. (Except for the one where Big Bird shows Rusty how to make his bed.) But I have noticed the season 10 and season 21 eps as well. I'm hoping they'll be up for a while. I'd like to see more with Leonard Jackson as Mr. Hanford. Whatever happened to him?
Well, I'm sorry to hear that. Matt's really been great at taking over Jerry's characters as well as creating his own. (Ex: Constantine) I agree with Muppet Master. Hopefully he'll be back. In the meantime we'll keep our thoughts and prayers with his family.
Though the Count had a line in...
Hmmm. Maybe he lost weight. We'll have to see what he looks like during the upcoming season up close.
Okay. Now I'm a little confused that Oscarfan and Johnny are saying two different things about the Big Bird and Oscar together deal.
What I'm getting from this is that Peter Linz was...
Okay. I see it in the TV listings. I think I see what went on there. When I looked under "Sesame Street" I just found the episode descriptions were of repeat episodes. But I noticed some new ones airing the 15th along with the new eps of the regular SS. So I see where I was confused there...
Maybe I'll be the first to post here. I liked the appearance. It's rare to see Snuffy in a live appearance. I also liked that Fat Blue appeared. (Is it Matt performing him now?) Also was it Carroll performing both Big Bird and Oscar in the segment where they talked about the weather? I'm...
Yeah. I liked how the opening sort of referenced the Muppet show them using the part from the first season where it begins with Fozzie telling a joke and the fifth season where Waldorf and Statler sang a verse.
I'm not sure that was all the writers fault. We've talked about how Piggy has...
Yeah. I guess Carroll's right. We need to stop freaking out on that. Just because a Muppeteer's voice for a character changes over time doesn't mean it's someone else performing him or her. I think we were all in an uproar after what happened the Muppets appeared on that show, but that's all...
Well, hopefully they didn't pull the same stunt that they pulled during the last
Muppet appearance at the show, but I see what you're saying. I thought Piggy's voice sounded a bit off too. For that matter Waldorf and Statler sounded a bit high pitched. But it may just be the audio or...
Great to see the REAL Kermit on AGT. I liked his intro to Howie Mandel: "Someone who was probably a Muppet in a previous life." That's presumably a reference to his voice work on Muppet Babies. Overall, I really enjoyed that appearance. Oh, BTW Rugrats kid, your video clip isn't working...
Is this on all PBS stations because I'm not seeing it anywhere in my local TV listings? Is there a different title for the show. Because I'm looking under "Sesame Street" and I'm only getting the regular hour version of the show.
Well, that's still more than is up on You Tube. I'll have to check out the other clips.
Nope. I still can't get anything there without that "select your provider" deal or any of that jazz.
Lucy: You know the old saying.
Schroeder: What old saying?
Lucy: Rats.
