Yeah. I just read on Muppet Wiki that there changing the opening and closing. Yeah. They do need to get away from the Murray format. I'm okay with them keeping him as a regular character on the show, but as for him hosting, that never really appealed to me.
I'd like to see them bring back...
Yeah. I've been thinking about that and maybe it would be a good idea to have :wisdom: and :grouchy: have separate puppeteers when the time comes so it will allow more interaction between the two of them. After all, that's why Dave was given :insatiable: rather than Eric. :)
Sorry, but I can't help being curious, but was that Carroll or Eric as Oscar there? I thought the voice sounded a bit different and we know know that Eric is understudying for Carroll as the grouch, so just thought I'd ask.
Those were gloves? Lol. I was wondering how that was done.
I was thinking about that too. In fact, I was a bit surprised when he actually peeled the banana rather than eating it whole. So there are a few "out of character" moments for cookie there.
Yeah. For his first few lines, I thought it was Carroll, but I noticed a difference in the voice later on, but yes, I agree, he would be good as the next Oscar, especially since we don't see him interact with Bert or Grover that often, so Eric performing him regularly after Carroll is gone...
Yeah. That's a good point. Still it would be nice to see those characters pop up from time to time no matter who's performing them. The fact that Ryan was performing other characters sort of caused that thought to pop into my head. Anyway, we'll see what happens.
It's also interesting to...
I'm glad we're finally getting some more posts here. I agree with Ryan doing other characters, maybe we'll see Hoots the Owl again or Clifford. (I know he's not a "Sesame Street" Muppet, but still it would be interesting to some time see what Ryan can do with him.)
So that was Fran? I was thinking it wasn't a Leslie Carerra voice. I'm glad we have responses to to this one at least. I'm glad that we're seeing new SG 2.0 episodes. Now if they'd only bring back "Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures." Whether it's Steve or Billy doing Ernie, I think that...
That's quite interesting since I know she voiced Velma in that Scooby-Doo puppet adventure DVD (Jinkies! What happened to Mindy Cohn there?) and her Velma voice did sound a bit like Prairie, so I think she'd do a good Prairie and maybe she'll do Zoe as well. I'll check out that site.
So is that official now? Steph will be the new Prairie? Where did you hear that? Will she be Zoe as well? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I can't help being curious here.
So you're saying that there are some that we may not have seen? That's interesting. It would be nice if they'd bring that segment back. Though if Billy is the primary performer of Ernie now, they may be staying away from segments that use Steve's Ernie. But I don't know since we don't know...
Yeah. It's nice that those were included. Was the WOTD with the Count and Abby new though? I haven't seen that one before. "B & E's Great Adventures" was probably repeated since that was Steve as Ernie. Plus I recall seeing that one before. Still, it's nice that the segment popped up one...
<<The bit with Abby, Rosita and Segi was cute. That was obviously filmed after Fran left. Hopefully they'll find a new performer for Zoe but still keep Segi.>>
Hmmmm. That's a good thought. Maybe Fran's retirement could be why we're seeing more of Segi, so the show could have more of a...
Yeah. I think Roscoe has had some personal issues lately, but I won't get into that there. Though I know Gordon has appeared briefly in some episodes. Not sure about Sonia though. I do recall that they were both in the Macy's parade however.
I know what you mean. I watched "Big Bird the...
Good thought. I like "Spaceballs" as well. Side note. It's nice to actually be able to post here. I'm glad I was able to get my computer fixed.
That's who that was? I was thinking Bill Nye. Is he even still around?
Hmmmm. I think we need a regular Grover smilie. The Super Grover smilie only seems to work if we're talking about Super Grover. Just my opinion.
Good ep overall. I agree with the previous comment. It was nice to see :( and Grungetta make an appearance in the Street Story and to have a...
