Sorry for the double post. But I guess I slipped up when I commented before watching the video, so I guess he isn't officially with the Henson company now. They just happened to sing that song while celebrating his birthday. Still that was good. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, I see what you mean and it wasn't just on this show, it was on "Good Luck Charlie," in interviews. (Piggy recently stated on a talk show that the other Muppets were Kermit's friends, not hers.) I agree that she has been flanderized over the past few years. It's no wonder Kermit broke up...
Yeah. Joey was a Muppet performer long before Murray. Remember that he worked with David on the Two Headed Monster and was Lightning in "Elmo Saves Christmas" and he played Horatio the Elephant for quite some time too, so he does deserve to be seen as more than just Murray. My guess is Joey's...
To be honest, Murray's main function was hosting the block format which the show has done with out for 39 years, so how much is he really needed? Plus we know that Joey's leaving, so as of right we don't know if they're recasting him or if he's leaving altogether.
:):o:concern:: Or if he's...
Still doesn't really tell us anything. Heck, I'm waiting for the new Furchester Hotel eps to show up on You Tube. I don't think an airdate's been set yet for that either.
Yeah. Definitely. Robin needs some airtime on this show. He hasn't been around much since Jerry's passing, so it would be nice to see what Matt can do with him.
Fozzie taking Robin trick-or-treating might be an interesting idea too. Reminds me of that Family Matters episode where Waldo took...
Yeah. I think you're right there. A lot of eps have two to three plots which they seem to have to rush to resolve. Most sitcoms do just have A and B plots which seem to work out much better.
I liked Ladywarrior's comment on IVAMICMUM or whatever as well, again Piggy admitting that she loved...
Yeah. I know what you mean. The show seems to have multiple plots and it's hard to fit everything in the half hour format. This seemed to work on varitey shows. But on this type of show, the conflict resolution often feels rushed. Maybe they should have made the show an hour long or...
I'm going to have to disagree there. Ever since "The Muppet Show" days, Kermit was good matured, but when the other Muppets got out of line, he had to do what it took to keep them under control even if it meant losing his cool every once in a while. Just think of how you would feel if you were...
Yeah. I noticed that in last night's episode. I don't know with so many Muppet couples being broken up on this series, it wouldn't surprise me to find that :sing: and :flirt: are no longer together either. You never know.
Yeah. Hopefully they won't cancel before Kermit and Miss Piggy get back together, if that does happen.
Yeah. That seems to be working with "Full House." Though Disney picked up MT! for it's second season as well, so that may be in the cards. Still it would be nice to keep in on a regular...
Yeah. I was a 1980 baby so CEOSS in where my most famous memory of Mr. Harold Hooper lies.
Yeah. I was a bit freaked out when I found out that Gordon was recast and that was when the show was in its early days. I'm glad that didn't happen too often.
Yeah. You're right. I never thought...
Yeah. My niece and nephew might know since I know they've seen earlier "Sesame Street" material like "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" and "Follow that Bird" and things like that. But a lot of kids may not know that the show of today isn't the same show that it was in the 80s or even early 90s.
It's sad when you think about it. When I watched the show when I was younger we had Maria, Luis, Susan, Gordon, Bob and Linda. Now people are growing up with Nina, Leela, Mando, Chris and Alan.
Seems like kids today may not even know who the first group of people I mentioned are.
