Ok...
Like all the losers (what my fiancee calls me), I was excited for my Christmas gifts come December 25. I received from her, the Backstage, Jim Henson, and Adventure Kermit. My mom and dad got me Fozzie and Pops, and with Xmas money, I went down to Silver Snail Comics and picked up Chef...
I know that Palisades has decided to put the 2005 line-up exclusively to online dealers and what-not, and they have said that there will be figures in the upcoming year. But have they actually established what the new figures will be after series 9? For a good while we knew what would be in...
I just got my Sweetums today!
He's awesome... heavy too!!!
Silver Snail Comics here in Toronto has to be the best source for action figures...
I ordered mine in pre-order on the 10th of November through Silver Snail, then they sent me a confirmation on the 11th. I checked my email on...
Woah...
I can't believe it...
Here in Toronto, Sweetums should be arriving very soon. I just ordered mine from the biggest toy and comic shop here in the city, on the online site, and I can't wait! It's only $49.99 Canadian. Now I can only hope that they receive it in the next week or so. :D
I live in Toronto, so if Silver Snail is getting them on their website, then they must be selling them in the store as well. Because they've had Adventure Kermit, Ghost of Sam Arrow, and a bunch of other exclusives before. Am I right in assuming so?
I think you're wrong Whatever...
Although she wasn't the best looking Muppet during that season, it was an original look. She first appeared in Vets Hospital looking that way. I think it would sell just as well as a regular looking Piggy. Plus we'd have a totally different looking Piggy for once.
I LOVE THE VETS HOSPITAL
Definately I would pay for em...
However the only thing I have a beef about is Piggy.
We already have 3 Piggy's with pretty much the same head sculp.
I know that the First Mate Piggy was totally new, but it still remained almost identical.
What I would...
People really are @ssholes...
I can understand why you'd be upset about that...
I'm 24 years old and my fiancee's brother thinks I'm a freak for collecting these figures, but I don't really give a flying FU... He's constantly coming over to our place and wanting to rearrange my cabinet...
Quick question...
Where will us Canadians be able to buy the Sweetums figures?
There is a comic shop in downtown Toronto, the Silver Snail, which has thousands of action figures, and tons of muppet figures and busts. I know that they had convention figures too, so does this mean that...
||ell ya I open em! :)
They are all neatly gathered together in my glass cabinet that I bought at Ikea... :p
I just wish that we could attach images here, so that I could show off my collection. :D
All my hard to stand figures have stands...
Its no biggie to me...
But even with Series 1 Kermit, I found that he would slouch a bit...
My solution was to move his legs so that his toes were at an obtuse angle facing eachother...
He stands perfectly now...
Silver Snail Comics in downtown Toronto said they received them on their website on July 15th. But do you honestly think that I missed this for three days?? I saw it on their website yesterday and went in today to get my Phil Van Neuter and Sam figure. However they were sold out of Marvin Suggs...
Here in Toronto, Silver Snail Comics will have them as soon as they are released. For a Canadian store, they sure do get their items ASAP. Although I'm not too keen on series 8, and I will only be getting Sam and Van Neuter. Possibly, Marvin Suggs, but I doubt it.
Since the last time I posted, my list keeps growing and growing.
Series 1:
Kermit
Miss Piggy
Dr. Teeth
Bunsen Honeydew
Tuxedo Kermit
Glamor Piggy
Vanishing Beaker
Muppet Labs with Beaker
Series 2:
Fozzie Bear
Gonzo
Floyd Pepper
Crazy Harry
Floyd Pepper repaint
Invisible...
I dunno why Annie Sue doesn't appeal to me. My first pick would be Hilda. I just liked her zany attitude in the first season, and especially when she was trying to look younger. My next pick would be for George's dance partner, Mildred. As for Emily Bear, I'd like to see her, but as I stated...
It's been about 2 weeks now, so does anyone know what the actual release date will be for the new wave of figures? My glass case is aching for some new figures to be added. If someone knows when they will be out in stores, please let us know. Thanks.
