That's a good idea.
I never let (although they ask) little kids or even some adults (depends on the person) play with my puppets. One of my friends kid absolutely destroyed a rabbit I had made. For those library events, I normally have the kids make their own puppets, and, at the last one...
I too liked the Flintstones because it was true to the cartoon. And, the only part of the Scooby Doo movie that I really liked was Scrappy Doo's part. (And why wasn't the movie called Scooby Dooby Doo??? And why was Scrappy Doo's middle name "Cornelius" instead of the original Scrappy DAPPY...
Aaron, TMS isn't on tv anymore. Those of us on here who haven't bought any of the new Timelife videos or don't have any on tape haven't seen it in years. So, the Muppet love's still there. It's just been a long time since there stomach was full of Muppet food...
Yeah, I've never liked Bible movies. They always screw up what the Bible really says...
Bringing back a discussion from a few posts ago, could Indiana Jones be considered a Bible movie? I mean, he does go after the ark of the covenant and the Holy Grail. He says God's name in it (a shocker...
Because we're not Kevin.
I actually had thought of that shortly before reading your post. It could work. I mean, remember Homeward Bound? The "thought bubbles" worked in that. No animated mouths. And it is closest to the comic strip.
Hey, Beau, when did you start home schooling?
Is that when you turn 16? Or, do they let you get your permit at 15 in Oklahoma? If so, dang it! Why didn't we move there last year??? :)
Yeah! I mean, how can you make Odie a real CAT??? It doesn't even make sense! It'd even be possible to make Garfield a real cat, but Odie? Now they're just changing things too much. I mean, you can't take one of my favorite cartoon dogs and turn him into a real cat. I won't stand for that! I...
That is upsetting.
Little Shop of Horrors is one of the best musicals of all time! Like Foz said, who doesn't want to see a musical with a man-eating plant? I was really looking forward to it getting the Broadway recognition it deserves.
Well, I don't remember reading this particular book, but I've read other "biographies" (mostly for children) that have gone into this stuff, and, yes, I have noticed the similarities. As you stated, The Wizard of Oz fandom being one. Being fascinated by the television (while nt quite becoming a...
I have to tell ya', those boxes look pretty cool.
Here's some more info on the DVD release of the first 3 Indiana Jones movies. I found this at the same site, www.theraider.net:
- Fully Restored -
Each of the three films in The Adventures of Indiana Jones - The Complete DVD Movie...
No. The "vicious cycle" Is speaks of started 2 weeks ago when I broke my ankle...
And, yes, we all know YOU wouldn't know what that's like. Though I've always suspected that Phil guy of knowing something about that sorta thing... :)
