Hey, did you know Disney's going through financial troubles? (at least the Disney Store is) If the whoe company is, though, imagin what could have happened to the Muppets if they had bought them!
I never liked the cartoon segments either. I always looked forward to the Ernie and Bert segments, cuz, this was around the time when Baby Bear and Telly started getting bigger (around '91-'93). I like Telly, but, I personally find Baby Bear to be the annoying one rather than Elmo!
Yeah, I...
It's in the Star Wars Insider issue with the large Darth Maul face on the front. In the article "The Blizzard of Oz." I remember reading that in there. It's a good article.

Don't feel too bad, Sarah. I know the first movie I ever saw was The Great Muppet Caper (also one of my favorite movies, Muppet or non, of all time). Unfortunately, the first Muppet movie I ever saw in the theater was not TGMC. The first one I ever saw in the theater was Muppet Treasure Island...
Oh, but, sadly they do.
Do you realise how many parents introduce their kids to Disney stuff using these cheapquels? ALL the libraries stock up on these things. Sadly, I think we are in the minority on this one. They sell well, unfortunately. And, it's also teaching adults that cartoons and...
True.
I wonder if they'll be using the same voices as in Space Jam. I kinda like the voices from Blooper Bunny (Bugs Bunny's 51 and a half Anniversary). That's fairly new. Are they the same voices in Space Jam as in that cartoon? If so, they sound awfully different.
Check. Good idea.
Sewing plastic eyes on? I've done it a few times (ping pong balls and softer plastics like that). It's done just the same as sewing the fabric. Only alot harder. You need a pretty strong needle that can poke through the plastic, and, it has to be maneuvered so that it comes...
Well, it looks much better than Space Jam. But, I'll have to wait and see. It deffenitely looks like they're focusing waaaaaaaay too much on the actors, rather than the Looney Tunes.
No, no, no! Bugs ISN'T a second-rate cartoon. Like Zack said, I was refering to the way he was depicted in Space Jam. They treated him like a retired cartoon that no one cared about anymore, and I agree completely with you. It could not be farther than the truth.
