Oh, Ok. That definitely changed by the SE, though - my copies of all three movies have the new Lucasfilm logo. Maybe Fox still owns the original cut, and Lucasfilm owns the SE?
Yeah, but that doesn't prevent the dialogue from being either pre-recorded for the puppeteer to perform to, or else looped afterwards. Whoever actually performed Rowlf and Kermit in each shot, Jim provided both voices. He didn't have to be physically operating the puppet on-set at the time...
There are currently two discs available. The first has the Elton John and Mark Hamill episodes on it, plus the 'Very Best of (Vol 1)' compilation that was released on VHS a few years ago, and the documentary 'Of Muppets And Men'. The second disc contains the Sylvester Stallone and Roger Moore...
Ahhhhh...sorry, I thought you were referring to the films in general :-) My bad. Yeah, it sucks that there's not much chance of the originals ever making it out on DVD. And there's gotta be a reason why the laserdiscs sell on eBay for more than the SE discs ;-)
