The show was fantastic but meeting Frank Oz just capped the trip to London nicely

I was in London yesterday walking down to see Avenue Q and literally bumped into Frank Oz he was really nice he stopped and posed for pics and spent a couple of minutes chatting to us he was in town promoting Death at a funeral

i read somewhere that fozzie will be 44 inches tall and animal will be 38 inches tall

the head and body are made from 3/4 inch foam sheets glued together with contact glue

The nostrils were done by cutting holes in the foam skull putting glue in them then pushing the fleece into the glue when it dried i painted some shading into them with acrylic paint i only lightly shaved the fleece down the seem on the face after i'd scraped it with a pin.

I dont use patterns i just make the puppets up as i go along the dragon is made from reticulated foam and covered in antron fleece he has a flexible plastic mouthplate and piano wire arm rods.

i used 3 colours to get the Kermit green~ golden yellow,emerald green in about equal measures and a bit of olive green it came out pretty close,yeah kermits hand are a bit fiddly these one are loads better than the last kermit i made i may do another with legs and one arm wire.

Thanks i'm glad you like him he was going to be a blue lizard but i kept adding things to it and it became a dragon.

Animal will be made from antron fleece the same as Kermit the screen used Animal has been fleece since the late 80's

i just guessed the rest i only used the head and mouth pattern

yeah i just zoomed into the pic lined the soul of my MR Kermits foot up with the one on the screen then the traced the head and mouth plate onto paper

I did the sheesh face more or less when i'd got him out of the box all the other pics were taken the day after i think

I have just made a Kermit puppet using that pattern he's turned out great i'll post pic's when i've done the collar.

did you notice what the tongue was made from it looks like plastic in some pics? yeah i cant wait to get fozzie he'll be great.
