I'd prefer for an Electric Mayhem album to have plenty of existing songs that hadn't been on previous albums, but even if it were all songs that have been released on albums, I think there's enough album-released Electric Mayhem songs to include on an album:
Tenderly
Sweet Tooth Jam
Sax and...
And it was on the Muppets Wizard of Oz soundtrack (one of many non-Oz songs to have also been released on Music, Mayhem, and More!).
As far as covers with new photos vs. old photos goes, I'd be okay with existing photos only if all the material is recordings from previous productions, but I...
Might not be easy like that. I might get asked when not in a talking mood or I really don't feel like answering the question being asked and just want to get answering it over with. Or I might feel like I'll get interrupted while answering.
I thought the one with Madleine Kahn came first, and then the second album came out and they had to replace Kahn.
I've heard Rowlf sing that song, and Rowlf's version didn't have anything in the middle to lead to him cheering up.
Perhaps if it consisted of only older recordings it could include:
Tenderly
Don't Blame the Dynamite
Money
Where You At?
Can You Picture That?
Night Life
You Can't Take No for an Answer
Wild Thing
Rockin' Robin
Sax and Violence
New York State of Mind
Barnyard Boogie
Rocking and Rolling Around...
People often ask me questions like that, which make me cringe before saying no because they ask in a way that I feel if I said no they won't exactly know which part I mean by no. Like if someone were to ask me "are you off tuesday or do you know yet?", and the answer to either question is no, I...
Just recently I was thinking it was odd that the Stars and Stripes Forever viral video featured Bobo in a mix of hard-to-understand characters, then realized that the penguins can be understood. But then I saw this thread.
Of course in The Muppets during the finally they clearly (in quack-y)...
I can't really understand what her "no" to not wanting to watch Labyrinth again is. Does she mean no as in she doesn't want to see that again, or no as in there's many old movies she would rather not watch again but Labyrinth is an exception? Confusing (and it's a shame we can't easily contact...
Does anybody else think Bobo's inclusion in the Stars and Stripes Forever video is odd? I know that the tune doesn't have any real lyrics, but all the other singers are characters who can't be understood well (well, also the penguins), and yet Bobo's also there, humming along. But I guess we...
Back when Power Rangers became Power Rangers Zeo, I would often say "There's no such thing as Power Rangers... There's Power Rangers Zeo!" Of course, not counting the brief Alien Rangers series this was the first Power Rangers show to have a new format and costumes and such.
Would an Electric Mayhem album be better if it was a compilation of existing tracks (including unreleased songs from The Muppet Show and various specials) or if it was all-new tracks, perhaps a mix of original songs and covers? And would they have to find some way to give Zoot dialogue so he can...
There is a difference between Oz and Connelly, though. Oz had worked with Jim Henson for many years and is/was one of the few Muppet performers who even the general public would know the name of (I think this was even the case before he started his directing career), while Connelly only worked...
I've read that Labyrinth was her first acting role, so it would have been after.
This thread kind of reminds me of her acceptance speech when Jennifer Connelly got her first (and only?) Oscar. With all her happy crying, I kept thinking, "She's not acknowledging her work in Labyrinth???" Yeah...
The only real "con", aside from many characters not having big parts (Link, Dr. Strangepork, Beauregard, etc), is Sweetums' introduction. It just comes off as odd. It seems his reason for being there is to just introduce another Muppet. They don't clearly introduce his name (Mad Man Mooney just...
I just watched the movie again for the first time in years. And I've got some things to say, aside from what I posted here earlier.
This movie takes place in a universe where animals can talk to humans but don't, Arnie the Alligator's reason being "Frogs that talk to humans get killed and...
Here's the exact quote on the website:
"David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly aren't too big of fans of Labyrinth. Both of them even get uncomfortable (in Bowie's case) or embarrassed (in Connelly's case) when their children are watching the film"
Of course, as I said earlier, the website doesn't...
